I think that a fair amount of the women on this list are working girls who are getting some free exposure. I answered 2 ads a few months ago and both were working girls. Didn't meet with them but one keeps sending emails to groups of guys. I guess she collects email addys of guys who respond.

Does anyone read and/or use the casual encounters section of the San Diego Craigslist? (See link). For those that have not heard of it, Craigslist is a free listing service for all sorts of things including jobs, housing, for sale, wanted, etc... as well as personals.

The "casual encounters" section has a lot of listings for essentially amature providers looking for donations. Check it out.. some of the listings are pretty explicit.

I'm very curious to hear about anyones (and everyones) experience with it. Seems like a good site for lots of LE action, which makes me very very skeptical of many of the listings. On the other hand, many sound extremely tempting!!

Never followed through on any of the listings -- many of the women seeking men ads look fake, like some high school guys sitting around making them up for laughs.  Would love to hear from anyone who has had a positive experience...

I have used it both ways: responding and advertising.  Bud is right in that many of the women advertising are working ladies.  There are also many who are just on hard times, looking for help.  I saw one of these and had a very nice time for 2 hours for $.  Also as a result of answering an ad, I have been emailing and talking (by phone) to a lady who seems very nice.  In fact we are meeting for dinner tomorrow night for the 1st time.
If you know what you're looking for and careful about screening  those you repond to I think you'll be ok.
BTW, I have placed four ads and not had a single response.  Oh well.  I guess I just was not what the ladies were looking for - at least on those particular nights.

I have to cheerfully report some real success.  I heard about Craigslist on VH-1 of all places.  I gave it a try and answered an ad from someone promising to play if I could help her with her rent.  She was very average, kind of havy-set....but she had skills and was very, very willing.  The first session cost me nothing.  The second one is still under negotiation, but it should be cheap.

My guess is that Craigslist is a good place for this kind of hooking up, but I'm also wary of LE.  Tread carefully.
