Ughhhh car problems.  Looking for a gem of a mechanic for my Ford.  Not looking to trade or anything like that just for an honest and reliable car fixer.

PM me please!

San Carlos Automotive, corner of Lake Murray and Navajo, near Grossmont College. Honest & reliable.

that it is best to take to the dealer. You may pay more, but when it comes to cars, you get what you pay for, and it least you have more recourse with a dealer than with an Indy.

Good luck!

I have to disagree. The dealerships are the most costly and you don't always get what you pay for; they usually fix one thing but find something else wrong or break something. The dealers make their money off repairs/parts; not by selling cars. I'd rather go with a good indy mechanic that is at least ASE certified. On another note, it's bad enough that you have a FORD (Fix or Repair Daily). I've seen plenty of them crap out within 2 years. What kind of car problems are you having?

Thanks everyone for responding.  I think I found what I'm looking for.  I like my Ford but it has been plagued with electrical bugs.  This time it is mainly the brakes though.
