I would like to ask all the providers to return their phone calls.  If you do not want to see someone, leave him a message that you are not interested.  It is just common courtesy.  If you are out of town, say so in your e-mail or voice mail.  I am tired of calling providers who advertise but never call back.  

This is becoming a common comment on the boards. Some (and it's only some) of the girls have a problem returning calls and emails. It can be frustrating to want to see a certain girl only to sit for sometimes days and not hear a reply. It should be part of the game girls to give the same courtsey that you would expect yourself...

Well, on our end, an increasing problem are guys who write an email like this:

"Hey Babe - free 2 nite? Lick your pics, they are cool!
Emale me back!
Joe"

Or how about a voice mail like this:

"Uh, call me back at 619-xxx-xxxx"


No names, no info, no respect.....  I will not reply to these!


Guys who get immediate phone calls are the ones that let me know they are on the "up-and-up" right up front by giving me their name, phone numbers, and what they are calling for (time and date they would like to see me).  

Now while those examples may not apply to you RMPLESTILSKIN, I am really tired of getting those types of messages from guys.  If you are making the type of phone calls I desire, then the girls should definitely call you back.  

Well, you have a good point. Any guy who is a gentleman will supply you with at least a minimum amount of details. As I stated in an earlier post, I've been at this for 10+ years and have seen more girls then I'd like to admit to ( Ashlee, Kelle, Rhonda, Sophia to name a few) and I'll assure you that they will all tell you that I'm as gentlemanly and informative as they need. ( I will say that only one of them knows me as Hewhocame ). The bottom line is that all to many of the providers in SD do not respond in a timely fashion if they respond at all. This can be very frustrating for us gentleman. I do however understand that returning phone calls after long amount of time may be hazardous. We need to provide a time frame in which we would like to have the lady call. It bothers me more to send an email and never get a response. Have fun and stay healthly...

DITTO! I recieve the same type of calls and don't appreciate the lack of respect. Other problems ...

Gentlemen speak too quickly and even after replaying the message three times, I am unable to hear the right number.

OR... They are on a cell phone that cuts out at the moment they are rattling off the phone number.

OR... Their message specifically states, " I am interested in seeing you this evening. If you are available call me back." If I am in fact occupied, I assume they don't want me to call them back and I don't.

I hope this helps someone, if not the gentleman who originally posted.

An exact, polite message, clearly repeating your name,  your call back number and specific instructions on when to call are necessary if you are to expect a call from me.  It would be completely unprofessional of me to return a call if I don't receive explicit instructions.  You may say you want to hear back "No" from a provider, but you don't, no matter what her excuse.  You are always welcome to try me a few times. I recognize that many of my clients may not be able to take a callback from me.  So, just saying; "Hi Girl! It's Joe John 555-1234" Isn't going to get that return call.

"Uh, call me back at 619-xxx-xxxx", good one girl! i laughed pretty hard when i read that. i'm confused about the issue of a provider not returning a phone call. if a provider doesn't call back move on. at last count there were well over a hundred providers listed on the several sites available to us. also, like any business those that respond with great customer service last a long time. those that don't are not missed! most importantly though, is not to pine for one particular provider. hell, make a game of it - call several providers the one who calls back first wins.  

Also, some of us use voice mail for a reason.... a private number.  When I call you back from my PERSONAL phone, and your number does not accept blocked calls, then I'm sorry.  I can't carry around a bunch of cell phones and pagers for business, personal, etc.... use.

I highly second the complaint about calls from guys who don't give explicit directions on when is a good time to call back.  

He wants to see me tonight - I'm busy - should I call?

He said to call him before eight PM and it is now 10 PM and I'm just now checking my messages - should I call?

I cannot emphasize enough that if you want us to call you back YOU MUST let me know if I am unavailable at the time you called that it is o.k. to do so later than that evening. I even state it on my recording to PLease let me know When you called and what time passed which you can no longer be reached if any and still I never seem to get the right info. I try my hardest to be discreet for myself as well as the client so if you don't tell me when you are interested in an appointment and when I can call you back I don't.

Seems the ladies get flack for calling back much later than they were called if they were busy or out of touch at the time and get flack if they don't call back at all out of a concern for discretion. I think this puts even the ones that wish to provide good customer service in a bind.

I think it's clear some guys interpret this as lack of concern because they don't see it from the other side.

Some ladies' web sites say they'll only call back if within 2 hours of the message but that sounds like a standard practice of even those who don't advertise as such.

I think the lesson is to be concrete on a voice mail stating whether a call back is desired and up to how long in the future even if the voice mail is to request a future appointment.

Maybe it you want someone to always call you back right away you should put them on retainer like you might in any other business. If you're not called back it simply means the lady isn't available for the time or service requested.

unfortunately putting a person on retainer doesn't ensure prompt attention either. but as you indicated if a call is not returned the person is either busy or not interested and as i said earlier - move on!

This is a really interesting thread, if for no other reason as it impacts the word "professional" versus amateur.

As someone who has been in the hobby for more years than I care to admit, professionalism is key for both the hobbyist and the professional.

A call should be returned, even if it is to say, "sorry, I'm not working today, this weekend, tonight, etc." By not returning a call, a provider tells the prospect any of the following:

1) I don't know you (or remember you) and I have no interest
2) I'm not in the business any more
3) I don't have availability
4) I'm socially irresponsible so I may be sexually irresponsible also
5) I don't have any business etitquite so I may revaile things about my customers/clients can expect the same after seeing me

By not returning the call, the message is anything but clear. Face it, in the era of voice mail, cell phones and pagers, most of which are used by providers in lieu of a dedicated home phone number (even if they forward) they received your message.

Like someone else said, it is too easy to leave a message saying how long it will take to call back, what their availability is, what days they are working.

All of this defines the word "professional."

Sorry, but not calling back puts the provider in the realm of "rank" amateur. Even if the call back is the next day, they should thank the person for calling, inquire if they hobbyist is still interested, and apologize for not being in touch sooner, and request they call again when the mood strikes them.

Instead, not calling back means missed business, but I guess business must be so good here in San Diego, that the providers can skip opportunities....Somehow, I think not or we would see less posts from the better ladies offering availability, extended hours for services and such.

You're right on. My message usually would consist of the following:

1) Name
2) Phone number
3) Time of the call
4) My interest in seeing the provider
5) A time window of my interest and a request for a call back or a message saying if I don't hear from you again by ________
I'll call again when I'm interested.

Point number 5 I think is fairest to all. For example, if I called you, and did not hear back, I would start looking at options. If one of the options came through, I would feel that you were not being stood up. By providing that out method, a hobbyist and provider each has a respectful approach to the other.

On the otherhand if the provider called back after I was already booked, I would choose to thank them and say I hope to see you next time.

As hobbyists, our time, like the providers time to discuss these arranegments is not always as easy as we would like. I don't block my Caller ID, but I find that more providers seem to prefer to do that, making for some awkward situations when they call back. If I can see the number, I can let a call go to voice mail if I'm in one of those moments.
