Although I have never been with Dawn, I would like more information about why NSB (No Stinkin' Badges) thinks Dawn is a "badge".  I know, here it goes, I'm going to get flamed, but I don't really care!!  I have found some of NSB's posts funny, but I'm begining to wonder his/her true motivations(?)  I understand that we need to be careful and communicate, but at the same time we need to work on not being so paranoid.  This is the kind of post that is going to drive the good providers off of our board and eventually drive them out of the San Diego area.  I know of one provider who has moved to LA because of this type of garbage.  I'm surprised TER has allowed this post based on their posting policies about "flaming".  Based on what I have researched there is nothing to indicate that Dawn is LE, other than, NSB's posts.

NSB:  If she is LE or a "badge" please be enlighten us with more information.  

Absolutely, she's a cop.  I would have gone for her, except when scheduling the appointment, she gave me several clues:

1st she moved the hotel on me and insisted on booking it herself

2nd, she refused a dinner date, said that she only did 1 hour meetings.

3rd, and most blatant she insisted on asking me on the phone to specifically state that I was looking for "sexual intercourse"

Obviously, she won't make the last rookie mistake anymore, but this is clearly a piggie.

Why would anybody want to tell them what they do to tip themselves off on a public forum?  There are several things in this ad that would make me agree with NSB but I wouldn't say why here or in a PM to somebody I don't know.

I'm sure she'll reward your devil's advocate approach with a great time.  That is, unless you're sitting next to her at the pretty blue building on Broadway already.

On the other hand, the rest of you should take No Stinking Badges at his word.  He's to be trusted.  He's very good at picking out the girls that like their tortilla's with holes in them.

I'll bet your philosophy will have changed by then. You may want a more touchy-feely board, but then you wouldn't learn things like what NSB is trying to teach you. I can see at least three red flags in "Dawn's" add. But do you really think anyone with even the smallest amount of common sense is going to publish what they are on a public message board?? Like it or not the potential outcome from seeing Dawn or one of her other friends would vary from a major inconvenience to life ruinning, depending on your personal situation.

Yes, I agree that this board can sometimes become too sarcastic or negative. But it's precisely because of this type of "provider" that the environment has become this way. For whatever reason San Diego LE seems to put more assets towards these issues more than other large metropolitan areas. All one has to do is go to one of the local strip clubs to see how silly and restrictive the enforcement is.

Tuck, we all have to make our own choices and if you think this board is too nasty for your taste, then just ignore it and go see Dawn. She certainly is a pretty lady with an enticing add. Perhaps then you will see things in a different light.

For a textbook example of how this kind of thing should be handled.  Maybe less fun than pulling the old flamethrower off the wall, but it actually gets the point across far more strongly.

One of them is who are the posters who tell it straight backed by real knowledge and who are the jerks who blow smoke.  It can take a fairly long time series to get a feel for that.

I've been on this board three years or so and nostinkingbadges has proven (him?,her?)self to be in the first category.  No way you could have known that, so you raised a legitimate question.

Doing an author search with the "Find Message" tool might help get you jump started on this.  Best of luck.

Also, it should be noted that the sting operations runs by LE are becoming more sophisticated, especially in contrast to their first rather lame attempts. This is to be expected, as there is something of a "Spy vs. Spy" adaptation process going on.

Given the extensive resources that S.D. LE is apparently willing to spend, a fair amount of caution seems to be in order. Certainly, those of us who don't worry about this at all are most at risk.
