An old friend is coming to San Dieog next weekend.  He REALLY wants to go to TJ.  After reading previous stuff, is the following a good summary of what he needs to do:

1] Take the Trolley to the border

2] From the border, take a cab [$5] to Chicago Club or Adelite

3] From here on is self evident ...

A couple of questions:

A] What about the bars in Revolucion Ave?

B] Does he need to get a hotel room?

Any other advice?

Take trolley to border.  No need for a taxi, unless going very late at night.  Use Libre taxi and negotiate a price lower than $5.  Go to Tropical Club, diagonally across the street from Adelitas.  Ask for Susana--the best in TJ.  With any other girl, always negotiate a lower price, which is easy to do.  Bars on Revolucion are a waste of time.  No need to get a hotel room (although there is a previous thread of advice about this issue on this site).  Have fun.
