Feeling kind of low after provider does not show up. She is well reviewed with an excellent reputation. Much planning, time, consideration  went into arranging this meeting.  I did text here after 30 minutes of waiting. No response after 90 minutes past our set date. Not sure what to do?

then  send her an email. Be nice, inquiry if she's ok. If you don't get a response just move on. Since you used an alias I can't detect your experience (by number of revews you've written) NCNS is bound to happen to you if you hobby long enough.  Also be prepared for hobbyists to  add to this thread, that since you didn't mention her name your post is useless. My advice on that, don't pay any attention to them.

happend several times with me over the last few years, sometimes with reputables.  they usually have and excuse.  you can take it or leave it.  i usually leave it and move on.  time is too precious to waste no matter how good the reviews are.  one lady did stand me up several years ago and i wrote her a pretty nasty email.  turned out she was in the hospital.  i felt like a piece of shit.  we agreed to meet again and it turned out she has been my ATF.  give it 48 hours and try again.  if no response leave it alone and move on.

I have only had 3 cancels on me and two of them happened in Vegas..which isn't a big deal because Vegas is the land of "next"

Two phone calls with messages or two emails/pms/texts and then move on. Girls have periods or kids and family to attend to and sometimes they can't make it to an appointment.

Personally, I can be canceled on for any reason whatsover without any explanation. The only caveat that bites me is when I book a room, a flight, cab fare etc. If I am flying to see her or if I book a room in SD and the gal can't show, then I get very slightly pissed.

I hate my policy becasuse there is someone that I met that I am dying to see, but not seeing her is much better than the monicker attached to those that won't leave someone alone. I left her two messages and with no response, looked elsewhere.

Try and look through the providers eyes. Once you do that, it gets easy to move on.

Thanks for all your comments, truly appreciative. FYI meeting was arranged 1 week in advance by e-mail, and confirmation was 1 day prior by e-mail.  Probably my fault not confirming with actual phone call. Nobody at fault.  I will simply, and happily move on.

I'd be pissed after making all those arrangements and spending all that money.  Look AT IT through providers eyes.  If it had been her going to you, she would have gotten the r/t plane ticket & 50% of her fee before she left.  She knows what it's like or she wouldn't protect herself like that.   However, you do whatever it takes to make you feel better about the incident, Life's too short to dwell on such thing.

A no fault world is easiest to live in after the incident has occurred.  You have the right attitude, it wasn't anybody's fault.  For  future reference always use phones for confirmation.

I was in Vegas for both of those instances. It turned out that I probably had better experiences with the plan B then the plan A on those two times. Vegas is the land of "next". I know there is several that I can be with there within 3 hours on any given evening.

The other one was in SD and she took a break but I see she is now back on BP and on TER. Her name is Brianna Bunz and I got a room at the SD hilton because I won't invite a first timer into my house. It's 5 miles from house and I spent $120 on the room, $80 on champagne and it was a week night so I took a PTO day the following day. She called me and told me that she was on her way and never showed and never answered her phone. I think she thought I was vice, but she had weeks to check my references...so her bad.

I am not new to this. My first "provider" was in 1984 and that term didn't even exist then.

Other than those times, I have not been canceled on, which relative to what I have read on hobby forums, is not the norm.
