There are also in home HIV kits you can purchase at the drug store. They are about $40.00 at CVS. Be safe! These tests aren't so scary if you know you always protect yourself!
I go to planned parenthood in mira mesa every 60 days..theres no excuse why people shouldn't go when its 100% Free if you tell them you cant afford any payments...they give you 40 condoms and a large tube of lubrication too so it saves you so much money.

I go to the VA Clinic (practically free for me). I was actually thinking of going to PP because it's a little awkward explaining to my gyn and primary Dr why I feel the need to go get checked so often lol. PP seems a little more on the down low. I'm not too concerned with the $ since I have my VA benefits and private insurance. But good to know. Thanks!

Thank you for the information YD! I see my primary care physician to get checked every other month and it's gotten embarrassing to see him so often for the same thing. I wonder if he's thinking "WTF!? You're back again?!" It's even more embarrassing because He's a regular at my gym and we run into each other three times a week. I was asked by my physician last summer and he had it faxed to him from my high school so I didn't need a repeat one.
BUT if you CANT rememeber IF you got the shot my Dr told me it definetly doesn't hurt to be given it twice im from boston Massachusetts and it amazes me hearing this bc I would think ALL states and schools would require this :/ sorry for completely missing that part originally misterjjj :P
