Special thanks to Frog at SDASP who helped get her caught. He didn't like her and help set her up and get her busted. I worked for Carrese, I know exactly what and why it happened. She wouldn't pay Frog more money for her accounts since she ran the business and she wouldn't sleep with him like he insists with many women so he went after her. All you ladies who think Frog is this great guy and is always looking out for you have been so fooled by a con man.

Facts are facts.  I don't think the moderators should worry about stuff like this.  Knowledge about this makes me more likely to use this site, not less.

And my opinion: just sad about the whole thing; our society is just way too puritanical.  

Already, every time I hear law enforcement whining on TV about they don't get enough funding for investigating serious crimes like rape and murder, I just think about how this is just proof to me that it's not about giving them more taxpayer dollars... it's about spending money the money they have with better priorities.

VERY sad to see this. Robin was my first experience with an enhanced massage here in San Diego, back when she was just starting out in PB. She was always VERY careful not to turn her biz into a full service operation, and she does NOT deserve to go to prison for this.

That sort of thing has been said by many ladies, not publically of course as the guy will ruin them should they ever speak out against him. Fact is, the guy is shady.

Robin called me today and told me about the news article in the Union Tribune.  Her sister had informed her that the comments posted online were all very positive and that no one seems to understand the absurdity of what she's been charged with.  Whew!  At least the public has brains, even if LE does not!

Robin's sister has sent me a couple of attachments with guidelines for writing your letters.

As we all pretty much can agree, this whole thing is a big F'ing JOKE, with a CAPITAL "F"!  Let's band together and try, at the very best, to appeal for her getting probation; at the very least, house arrest with the ankle-bracelet gizmo.  None of us, I do not believe, would want to see the worst here....PRISON FOR FOUR YEARS!  And that is what the DA is pushing for!

Additionally, as most of you know--those of you who know Robin and have followed her career--she is a single Mom with four children; three are under 18.  Also, she has had breast cancer for the past 2.5 years and just this week, the jail doctor told her that it's possible the stomach pains and burning sensations she's been feeling recently, could be a sign that her CANCER HAS SPREAD!!!

If you do choose to write a letter on her behalf, please muster your deepest, heart-felt empathy; putting yourself in her shoes and being honest about the good service and strong character she's given and displayed these past years as San Diego's finest & foremost Sensual Massage Provider.

Lastly, i want to personally apologize for having wrongly accused "ARTEMIS"  as the one who turned Robin in to Crime Stoppers.  Since the time of my posts earlier this year, the evidence has come forth to show that in fact it was not Artemis, but a different girl--who is still working as an INDY provider in SD--who was the turn-coat.

As far as Robin- she got sloppy and that's why this happened. I feel badly for her, but GREED is an ugly thing. You dont need 5 locations and 30 girls- that is ASKING for problems.

The idea that Frog, any of the ladies associated with the organization or anyone in the biz at all had anything to do in the downfall of any one individual is nothing short of REDICULOUS. Unfortunately forums are based on opinion, not fact. In the event facts are desired here's a few.

- Robin was a bright but driven woman. Sometimes drive can cloud even the brightest star

- She was a pioneer of a service that was well organized, well, executed model that brought joy to many, many people and provided something positive for both sides

- She was a caring mother who's children will be irreversibly effected by the unfortunate situation.

- She had a good thing and was proud of it but got too comfortable and overconfident.

- She could be a real pain in the ass and difficult to deal at times but could also be generous, fun and exciting to be around

- the "tip" that started the whole investigation came in Oct 08 in Carlsbad. At that exact same there was a falling out with the Carlsbad studio's landord and a bitter court settlemen followed. It doesnt take a rocket scientist to put two and two together and figure out the tip likely came from that source!

- At no time did Robin ever suggest a lady conduct in FS activities and in fact would terminate those who did.

- Nutshell...this was not caused by an insider. It could happen to any buisness your drawing too much of the wrong kind of attention to it...you just can't be blatant, large, or high profile in a low-profile industry.

It's a very painful lesson to see but should be duely noted and not repeated.

Frog helped "set her up"?  Do you have any evidence to support that?  That's a very serious accusation, and you claim to "know exactly what and why it happened."  Ok, put up or shut up.  I bet you can't produce even a shred of evidence to support it.  

I don't know Frog, never met him, but why in the world would he bring attention to himself in this way?  Working with Uncle Leo?  It's a completely ridiculous claim.

Why all the kryptic talk...if you KNOW who it was...post the name. Otherwise this just seems like a ramble and a witchhunt.

I have watched your posts for some time Shoshana...Robin is lucky to have such a loyal friend. Good for you.

all due respect, people are losing sight of a couple personality traits of Robin's that made the arrest and conviction (guilty plea) very predictable.
#1- she burned bridges with almost everyone sooner or later. You could not leave her to go work on your own or she would try to bring you down.
#2- sense of entitlement- she felt that GM was the ONLY way to do the sensual massage biz, and that since she more or less started it, she claimed no one else could or even should try to emulate her or her operation. Name one good idea or company that created a successful service or product that other people did not mimic and try to improve upon.

Robin had no compunction about putting other people at risk. Witness her effort to sabotage Hot Body Works when she felt threatened by that much smaller organization. She distributed fliers under the doormats and in mailboxes of neighbors  at both HBW locations within days of HBW opening its second studio in Carlsbad. She was not just jeopardizing the livelihood of a few people. She could have been directly responsible for other people getting caught up in an Uncle Leo trap.


So, the fact that she was so venomous in her attempts to keep others down makes me feel no empathy or sympathy for her at all. If she could have just merely lived with making a half million dollars a year without begrudging the attempts of others to grab a piece of the pie, we wouldn't be having this discussion. HBW, Divine Sensuality, GM...they might all be around, prospering and providing the services their clients came to know and love.

It's not about whether Robin's actions brought about only her imprisonment. They also caused at least two dozen women to lose jobs that paid really well, and made everyone in the business (hobbyists as well) more paranoid. And that's exactly what L.E. wants- for everyone to be looking over their shoulder, and for agencies in particular to shut down. So, congratulations Robin, you managed to take down your competitors after all. A rather Pyrrhic victory after all, though.

I agree with Jake- why the cryptic (not kryptic) talk? If there's someone undercover on these boards, wouldn't it behoove everyone on the boards to know who may rat them out next?

Arden, you are mixing apples and cumquats. FS does mean full service. But you can get arrested for doing much less than full service, as this episode has made clear. Crossing the threshold from legal activity to a sex crime may seem like a gray area to us, but to Johnny Law, it is a bright line. Nudity or toys or touching body parts that are off limits is all it takes. Just one of those things, and most of the people on this site are doing all of those things.

So, FBSM is most likely illegal as practiced the way everyone here gives or receives it. Anything beyond that is irrelevant in a law enforcement sense, because once you're over the threshold, you're over it. You're speeding on the freeway if you're going 72mph or 102mph.

Other than that- your admonition to screen, screen and screen is paramount. It's the best defense any of the providers have. If they don't do it, they're almost asking for trouble. Robin practically flaunted her sense of invincibility. She fought landlords when she was evicted for conducting biz out of places she'd rented.

With all the comments about this mess, did anyone not feel a bit squeamish about THIS???

His point is quite obvious, JakeStone74 - a lot of us visited Glamour Massage in 2009, some of us on a regular basis.  If they were staking out the place, we were likely under surveillance.  I have little doubt in my mind that somewhere there is a picture of my car parked near the "Sunshine House" in Del Mar, maybe one of me walking in the place.

The question I would have is how they'd build any sort of case against a customer.  It seems to me that there is only one way that can happen, but admittedly I am ignorant of what they can and can't charge you with as a customer if they've only seen you walking in the joint.

I have a solid source that told me the police flipped those clients and had them ready to testify against Robin. That's one of the reasons the DA felt so strongly about the case, and probably one of the factors that led Robin to plead guilt instead of taking it to trial. Her trial wasn't going to be until August anyway.

The thing I've been wondering for months is...how much did Robin help the DA by discussing other things she knows about the business in San Diego?

I think is very true..Clients can be flipped and use girls to help LE. What about these 6 clients why were they not charged.??Any info?. Its important to just screen screen screen!!

This is bogus.  I had nor have any interest in Carrese, nor was I involved in her bust.

I visited GM a few times, and can tell you ... I'd give anything to know if Inari is still providing massage!  Celeste was also great.  Any news of them?
