Just curious as I am unfortunately an upper 20 something widower (nearly 2 years now) having no desire to pursue serious relationships anymore while also being too busy with my career to be into the whole casual dating scene anymore. I occasionally arrange an appointment via P411 as of last year and for the most part it seems that things go smoothly, but occasionally I get the ice cold ignore rather than a provider simply saying she would prefer not to deal with me for whatever reason, presumably my age.  

I'm sorry about your experiences, but being in my upper 20s myself, I can say I haven't received any sort of age discrimination.  In fact, I've been told by multiple providers, both old and young, that they prefer younger clients.  Unfortunately, you were probably just unlucky and booked an appointment with a flake.  It happens to all of us.  Just move on to the next.

I have yet to be discriminated against in my experience but I too always worries about it when touching base for the first time. You have to understand providers can ignore you for a lot of reasons so I wouldn't be so sure it's because of that. Just do your research, be polite and discreet, and learn to move on.

I don't mind seeing younger gentlemen. Sometimes it's weird to see a guy in my age bracket as it just feels a tiny bit awkward on my part that I am a provider.  I love what I do but sometimes it's embarrassing to admit I am a provider, and seeing a guy my age just sort of puts the reality out in the open. Lol

You said you were in your upper 20's, so that isn't too young exactly, but with the clients that are let's say... Like 23, I worry a bit that they wouldn't have the money for a donation. When I was 21, 22, 23, I was totally broke going to college. I didn't have 300, 400, or more to just blow.

Natasha, I've totally felt the same, but from the other side.  Without getting too deep, I understand how this is socially unacceptable.  Being with a provider my age makes me realize I probably should just go out and meet "normal" women (but they're so boring).  Maybe that's why I tend to see MILFS, but that's a topic for a different thread.

And about the money issue, I would never assume he can't pay because of his age, especially on San Diego.  I work with a lot of extremely wealthy people and trust me, they all look different.  As a quick example, a client of mine just turned 22 and inherited his family's fortune after his parents unexpectedly passed away.  You would think the kid hasn't showered in years.  He's now worth over a hundred of million.

Boys.  They are more likely to flake, be inconsiderate, talk about themselves, be bad or selfish lovers, etc.

Thank you everyone for your replies. I reflected upon each post and took every criticism and observation well. I understand that providers can pick and choose and that is fully their right with my full support. That was never an issue of mine, but one should always remember that. I still expect a certain level of consideration though and that was my biggest issue. I guess the age thing was really secondary to the bigger issue of flaking or ignoring after already making contact and everything seeming fine. I have shrugged it off at this point and I will be on my way as far as looking for a Tuesday or possibly Thursday morning appointment.

Fair enough, but the stress I was feeling was not because I was having an issue getting an appointment as I could have gone with a provider I had seen before no problem, but more so because time is money and taking time out of my day for a flake appointment is bothersome when I have already been dealing with a lot of stress of late as is with work and other personal nuances. The last thing I needed as a sort of cherry on top was a flake which was exactly what I got.

You appear to be much more mature for your age & it comes accross here in your post.  I do not tend to see younger individuals, but would make an exception for you.  Sorry, but with my experience older gents are more respectful.  
As you can see with yourself their is always someone who does not fit the bill.

Personally I don't mind. To me is more the way you come across rather than age, colour ect. I don't discriminate, I evaluate the individual
