Their DNS entries have gone away too.  Could be just a technical issue - however, my phone call requesting an appointment has not been returned (from DevineSensuality).

I tried to book an appointment as a first-time client for Red Hot Body Works and even though I didn't have proper references. But also this is one thing that Eclipse wrote that had me thinking something might have happened:

I am sorry.  Also, due to recent events, we are not taking new clients for a while.

Thanks for your understanding.

Not good.  I smell donuts.  Our tax dollars at work.  Nothing in the press though.

After re-reading my message just wanted to clarify that I have been a client of Glamour Massage but wanted to check out RHBW and that is why I was trying to get cleared and that is how I got that e-mail from Eclipse.

There will be many agencies and independent providers that are screening more and only seeing old friends at this time...

Does anyone think we have to worry if our name is on file?

Send me a message if you want more details.

As far as Hot Body Works...we will be requiring 2 recent SOLID references for any new clients in the future.

Massage is healing and should be light and fun and safe!

Lets keep it that way~

Why would two places be affected at the same time, though?

These things rarely happen without something drawing interest - I'm betting that a neighbor noticed all the traffic and decided to call the powers that be.

I'm thinking you may be right.  Most locations were in nice middle class neighborhoods.  The locations moved frequently but someone may have been nosy.

But to echo a previous post, what's wrong with just a massage?  That's all I ever got.  The donut munchers have nothing else to do in this economy.  Go arrest some robbers or something!

As one who is on the very inside of this issue, allow me to shed some light, please.
By now most of you know that Caresse was arrested on Jan 8. At her arraignment Jan 12, the prosecutor sat with the judge and reviewed her website and other ads. The judge then set bail at $200K for ten felony counts of pimping and pandering.

Following that development, we at HBW informed our sisters at Divine Sensuality as well as others who used to work for Caresse at GM. Divine held an all-staff meeting and decided to pre-emptively shut down. HBW stayed in business for another few weeks, and then also pre-emptively closed its doors. Several of the providers who worked for both operations (as well as for GM) have gone independent. If you want to see them, you have to know where to look. Everyone is being more cautious now. If you're lucky enough to have a regular provider, stay with her and keep your head down.

As for client lists from GM or anyone else- my attorney told me no judge would grant a warrant to open those client lists, and the clients themselves could kill the release of the lists (if they even existed) on first amendment grounds. I hope people will be able to relax a little about this issue at least.
