Why is it I have noticed several heading off into uncharted waters never to return , but only one has come back to tell what happened.  I have all the respect in the world for rmplestilskin. Any comments?

You should ask that question to TER. Some messages could not make it thru. It happened to me and my friends awhile back in different times, we entered but never got posted.

I suspect Aflonso Badoya, though not the faint of heart, could be simply .....paranoid?

Always do homework, and caveat emptor.

I don't this for sure, but I had heard that sometimes, as a part of the plea bargain, they require you to stop any involvement. Basically, it means that you have to go "undeground" and not maintain a public personna.

As far as TER postings, TER walks a thin line between "free speech" and interfering/contributing. That's something else that helped bring down the Tampa operation. They got popped for facilitating criminal activity.

Yeah, it smacks of first ammendment rights violations, but the courts typically side with LE in these types of cases-it's in the "public interest".
