I'm in SD this week and next on business.  I'm staying at an upscale downtown hotel.  For the weekend, I want to sit on the beach, go for a hike, eat fish tacos, and see some of the great ladies the area has to offer.

Can the locals suggest areas for me to go?

If you're looking just to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, then La Jolla Windansea is the best beach!

If you're into people watching, Mission Beach or Imperial Beach boardwalks are pretty good.

Fish Tacos? Rubio's, Lolita's or any really out-of-the-way "hole-in-the-wall" taco shops in National City or Chula Vista!

Hiking? Alpine or Jamul, perhaps

South Beach bar and grill for tacos.  I like Torrey Pines, La Jolla for beach. Palomar Mountain area has some nice hikes. You can get a copy of the book Afoot and Afield in San Diego County. Lists many day hikes all over San Diego County.

Hello,

Are you still in town?  I am based in L.A. and come to San Diego often.  I know of some great restaurants & beaches, and also fun adventures/things to do on Coronado Island (accessible by water taxi; don't even have to drive from downtown!)...

I have been UTR for over a year, and recently began advertising.  If you're still around & looking for a companion, please view my website:   www.MayaMendez.com          I also advertise on Eros.

Thanks & I hope you've had a wonderful time here!
