Sorry fair denizens of SD, but yesterday's game showed the old football adage that "offense wins games, but defense wins championships" still holds true.

That and a punishing power running game.  By mid-3rd quarter, your D-line was getting worn out by the constant pounding up the middle. And finally, when Shonn Green broke a tackle and went to the house, he sealed a hard fought game.

But to keep it on topic, I need to visit SD soon to do some "pounding" of my own, with the consent of some fair maiden or sex kitten of course.

Thanks for the recap. The NY defense was stout, and our pro bowl kicker missed two from a distance he hasn't missed from all year.

Props to the Nyets and Sanchez for a good rookie season. But their good fortune is about to run out. Indy isn't going to rest their starters mid second quarter this time.

That has always been the problem with the Chargers. They get to the playoffs and choke. They have only one a single championship game in there history I think it was in 66 in the old AFL days.

I know how you feel, I hate the Manning's, including Archie. So I have to cheer for the Jets.
