as oposed to just the most recent one posted by a partciular reviewer (using the same handle). This would make it more statistically representative. Afterall. is it really reasonable to expect a provider to be on their A game at all times. By that I mean I would not expect it to be exactly the same each time and hence different reviews might be warranted. So all for the re-do and another review, but leave the original review in the history.

ONE (and only one) of the reviews should count in the average, but only the most recent one (i feel). perhaps bringing awareness of this will help change this feature?

Q: should ladies be allowed RE-dos?

say a lady sees a gent (and no i am not talking about me) and he reviews her HONESTLY, yet poorly in ratings. basically he was disappointed based off photos and other reviews. say this provider contacted this gent and said something along the lines of "let me do a make-up date and you can re-review me after" (basically saying i'll do better, now fix my ratings because that review i earned could be losing me business)...

should that be allowed? should the review be allowed to re-write his review and not allow other TER users to see the original review (when she didn't know she was being reviewed)?

my stance: the original review should still be viewable, but perhaps not weighed into her average. i think its important for people to review ladies when they may not perhaps realize they are under any scrutiny (like a random test, u know?).

I think it's responsible...even PROactive to offer a make-up/redo if you know you had a bad day or something...But if you're only offering a make-up because you got caught (I.e poor review) then that's your fault.

I mean, if I'm not cool with a client, but coorect myself...that person should (hopefully) be willing to forgive.   BUT!!!! if I'm only apologizing because my boss caught me (basically what a review translates to in the non-hobby world) then you should be stuck.  Its a customer service job...NOT a customer service when you know you're being watched job.

In your scenario, is the provider doing the session either gratis or for a discounted rate?  Because if so, then what you're talking about is a quid pro quo, which definitely violates the hobby's ethics standard.

Also, as a side note, I think it makes a difference as to *what* it was that disappointed him.  If it was her appearance (e.g. being heavier or older than her pics) then what difference could a RE-do make?  But if it was her performance that disappointed him, then it makes more sense that they might agree to a RE-do.

I can see possibilities for giving someone a second chance.  Could be several legit reasons why the first go around did not work out well as you might enjoy

I speak from experience, yrs ago I had HUGE Expectations with an extremely well known lady in Vegas and it did not go as well as I would have liked.  Not entirely her fault, my own expectations were kinda too much and I let myself down  I caught her on a bad day, ( it happens )  and my own hopes were way too high

Fast forward again much later for a 2nd chance with a more realistic expectation, and things were totally different and very good.  

You have to examine every situation on it's own merits and decide if you want to try again

The review should remain posted & if the provider wants an opportunity to redeem herself she should always offer a discount.  This is just my personal opinion only.

You know what actually happens? I know a ton of providers, even some on here, that started off horribly. Some were just not very good, some were up sellers, and even rip-offs. Some leave for a while and come back. They simply start over with a new name, new number, get some better pics, and next thing you know they're good. I can think of at least 5 providers that started that way and now are good.

then the new review has already replaced the old one. To the guy's credit, in the new review he described the whole thing that Mila wrote, so at least he's open about it. Makes me wonder how many other reviews got quietly updated without the honesty that this hobbyist has displayed.

if ANYONE read the original review (the one that prompted this discussion) then you too would think the second review was to kiss her ass for the "freebee or discounted" 2nd visit. no way would anyone pay the same rate again if his first experience was that bad.


the thing that pisses me off is she was UNPREPARED and did not look like her photos. he reviewed poorly for that (which is reasonable). in the re-do her rating went up 2-3 points (i can't remember the original score).

the point is not to bring out the problem reviewers/reviewed.
the point is to bring awareness that some good reviews could be FLUFF not fact.
they could be re-dos which deteriorated the integrity of the review system.

this is an attempt to bring awareness of this flaw in the hope people read reviews closely and find ways to protect hobbyists from un-factual or un-deserved good reviews.

true. its shady.

however the reviewed person i think of in this instance has bad and worse reviews from the past that are still up. so to get one less-than-stellar review after knowing of the issues in the past she truly deserves her original rating 100%. i understand trying to start over and stuff, but if ur gonna do it u need to change your service quality too, not just your name. this did not happen. the same complaints were in this review as were in the reviews from the past.

And it is not the numbers that count.
We are not the flavor for everyone and YMMV is true of all of us.
In the end it just shows that we are human and fallible thererfore "real".
Don't let it bug you or get you down -- just keep giving your best and you will always get new and return clients!!
