Does anybody "take the edge off" before they see a provider in hopes of lasting a bit longer?

Having concerns about yourself is one thing. Trying to bring others in to help you identify with your own problems is another. I doubt most here in SD worry about their staying power or care about the use of drugs.

Not hardly.  My hope is to get off twice during a visit, and "waxing the dolphin" is likely to prevent that.

Without trying to blow my own horn, no I don't take the edge off before a visit. I don't find it a problem lasting a full hour if I want to. I do have a suggestion for those who might have difficulty filling an hour. It's called foreplay. Kissing touching, sexy talk is nearly as exciting as the act itself (personal opinion). If that can't fill the hour then try something really outrageous like getting to know the lady you're with as a person. Talk about what she's interested in and vice versa. Familiarity on something other than a sexual level can make subsequent visits that much better.

I try to only see gals that allow 2 or 3 cups of coffee....so..no need to shave the edge off..lol..

Why on Earth would you do that?  That is why you should think about baseball during your visit.  Take your mind away not the edge off.  Besides, if you can do it twice in an hour all the better!!  I think that most ladies would be more than understanding if you have to release your first one rather quickly.  Don't worry so much about it.

Dude?  You need to take the edge off before you type reponses like that.  There is nothing wrong with take the edge off.  I suggested that he let the provider do it for him.  Most girls have no problem with two releases in a session.  Especially if the first one is right at the beginning and rather quick.  Chill out and have a drink or something before your next post.

Did you READ the responses? I count five legitimate answers to the question posted (including yours). All (except yours) elaborated as to the reason for the answer. I see no indication of anyone calling anyone an idiot (except you) nor any proclamation that any of us is better than anyone else (except for yours since all other responses are "for SH!T").
 You and I have exchanged a few e-mails regarding some common experiences in the past and for the most part, I've respected and in some cases, agreed with your opinions. The respect is fading quickly though.

I didn't take offense to any of the answers, as I am not really concnerned with blowing my own horn and sticking out my chest.  I was simply trying to get a feel for how how others approach sessions. I usually don't take the edge off becasue if I do the BJ is a waste of time for me(except with one or two providers.)
