i hear san diego has a big LE problem when it comes to this hobby, how come i never hear of people getting busted, and other horror stories due to "san diego's finest"?  one would hope to learn from others mistakes or experiences to not get busted in the future.  i know some of the ladies get harrassed by the cops on the phone and e-mails, other than that, i dont hear anything more.  so if anyone has info, or would like to share a story, please do.

I don't think people feel comfortable putting that information out there. I made the same observation recently. Typically posting a horror story has opened a girl up to gossip and judgement. I can understand why they wouldn't share. The damage has been done by that point. So, after the fact wouldn't be much help to anyone. My 2 cents.....

well, i certainly wouldnt want anyone to feel like they would get in more trouble with LE.  i just want the idea to circulate that we as a board should try to help each other.  i wasnt expecting any kind of specifics in the stories, and certainly no names.

Wouldn't it be great to share that info so others would not get busted in a trap we got caught in?

What if you got busted in a street operation?  Would you park down the street and put a sign in the window "Sting OP Ahead - 500 feet"

I think not.  OK bad analogy, but think about it... If LE were to link back such a warning to someone who was busted... and they could if enough details were given, they could add on Impeding or some other charges.

Better to share warnings in the back channels -- Less chance of being burned by the bacon.

has a good point.  Share all the secret info in the back channel.  In the near term, there is less chance of being burned by anyone.  Without a subpoena, they can't access that info.  Have a great day everyone and please try and stay out of trouble ~
