I am finished with "girls" who have no real understanding of what pleases a man.  I have come to the conclusion, that the more confident and educated a provider is,the better the experience will be the man.  Is it appropriate for me to ask the provider her true age?

Quite understandably, many providers undersell their age by anywhere from a couple of years to 5-10 years.

I would think if you make it clear in your initial contact with them that you actually PREFER more mature women, they would feel comfortable with telling you specifics, but YMMV.

YMMV actually is the real issue here, as there are bad escorts over 30 and good ones under 30.  See well reviewed providers and use TER thoroughly, and you should be happy most of the time.

I've visited providers younger and older - and there are first-class providers of all ages.  BUT, the highest clustering of the very best in my experience are in their 30's (maybe 30-36).  AND, this has never had anything to do with my age.  When I was in my thirties - they were the best; when I was in my forties - they were the best; and even today they are the best!

Agree.  Most women are in their "peak" in the early 30's.  Another point which I raised on the National Board and it didn't get posted for some reason.  Why can't TER "age" providers?  For instance, if they've got reviews going back 5 years, why are they still 19?  Moderator: this isn't an insulting question is it?

Age is a sensitive issue for many mature providers! I'm in my fabulous 40-something or others... and I have yet to meet a client, (regsrdless of his age) who can outlasted me!  

As one discerning hobbyist posted on this board, 'Suzanne can make a Dead Man cum!' There's a great deal more involved than age alone when it cums to a provider's abilities, energy level, and her overhelming desire to please each and every one of her clients!

Thank you Suzanne for not taking me on directly re: my comments on women in their 30's.  Your post was most gracious.  To you and other "fantastic forties,"  I certainly meant no disrespect (and from the nature of your response I know you understood this.)

In my previous post I spoke of a "clustering" of the very best providers being in their 30's.  But there are also "outliers" in any statistical distribution - meaning that there are always exceptions to the rule!  And, in my personal experience two of my ATFs were definitely outliers - one was in her mid-forties and the other was in her early fifties!  (Sadly, I am now geographically distanced from them both.) Both of these ladies could outperform every 30-something that I've ever met -- and to top that, they were definitely the sexiest, most beautiful providers I've ever met "in the hobby."

40 is the new 30!!

This is a touchy subject for mature providers, that is irrelevant anyway ... because it sounds to me that you are most interested in performance.  You can find out a lot about who would best meet your needs from reviews, which give a lot of valuable information about what a session would probably be like.  Often the small details can point you in the direction of a great encounter, or avert a bad one.

Most mature providers subtract some years from their advertised age because as one woman who is listed in her mid-30s said, "this is a tough business for women over 40."  You wouldn't have guessed it from looking at her, however...

If you have a perverse need to know, it only takes a few minutes of conversation to get a good idea, based on what they say about school, work, and their children. Save the question for other hobbyists.

For me to get upset with you, you would have to say something along the lines of how disgusting it is to you to see how fast providers go downhill after they hit 40!   Even then I would probably just try to get you over here for a visit and teach you not to say things like that again!
