After some careful consideration, A look at Lara’s replies here, and some new information passed along to me, I am going to let you all know that I think just maybe I was played like a Stradivarius.  
Now, as to why a lady, or a guy would play games such as these with either naughty escort or specific girls, that is really left up to you all to decide.  I just can’t go along in good conscience and let Lara burn here by herself without letting you all know that while the stories, while they are true, the men being used by LE and then Lara and others making calls to providers regarding this “close call”, I think that there may well be a game being played, not by LE, as was the worst fear, but POSSIBLY by another provider.  One that is very knowledgeable about all the going’s on, both past and present regarding the happenings of adult entertainment, LE efforts, and maybe even naughtyescorts.  
As to the why? One can only guess. This is merely a FEELING that I am now getting when looking at the bigger picture and the ensuing fallout.  Now, you’re left to decide for yourselves.  Lara has explained herself and should probably continue to address questions and you should continue to ask them.  As to my using alias and my answering too many questions, I'm not in the "line of fire" and don’t wish to place myself there.  
My apologies to Lara would seem hollow and obviously come much too late, so I save those and only offer this explanation as way of putting some of the possible wrongs right.  Maybe the initial stories are correct, maybe my newfound doubts and wondering are more legitimate. You can each decide for yourself.  Group panic is never good.  I have always believed that you are all entitled to the most information possible.
A link on the national board thread to this thread by whomever knows how to do such would be a good idea.

I dont follow the gossip here but I dont think Lara should have to explain herself to anybody.  She is obviously a quality provider and thats that. I dont know her but it sounds like everyone wants to pry into her personal business where they never belonged.  I send mad props out to Lara....You go girl, thanks for being such a good provider, and I will help you get your shit together if you like.

Can't tell you how happy and relieved I am to see your post.  I'll have more to say later, but for now I've posted the link you requested in the "Fantasy" thread.  Don't know how many people will see it.  You know what happens once a thread reaches page 2.

I think it is pretty obvious who it is that you are speaking of heardit2. Since I know who you are I am a bit shocked by your sudden change of heart. The funny thing is I never got a phone call from you before you chose to come on here and spout off about this certain provider who has a whole hell of alot in common with myself. I know you have my phone number too. While I have done my best thus far to remain out of the fray, I will not sit by idle while I am slandered. Really how many other providers in sandiego fit this description? Who even comes close? I have also been told by several that Lara claims that I am trying to run her out of town. Friendly advice to take a tour somewhere for a little while until this all dies down Is not the same as trying to run her out of town. I thought it to be sound advice to preserve her reputation and her business.

If I continue to hear this type of crap I WILL be happy to give a detailed account of the situation complete with Laras correspondence and other stuff, she knows what that means. I won't go into this anymore here as this has taken up enough of this boards space. If it becomes necessary for me to do so I will simply post that it is available and those who wish to seek it out may contact me.
I would like to see this all end right here, at least as far as my so called involvement is concerned. That however is Lara's Choice.

Just when I was almlost 100% convinced you are just a curmudgen with no LE connection, you go and post this.  If you want to help, why don't you step to the sidelines and shut up for a couple of days instead of stirring up trouble.

I could try to agree with Dionisios more but I don't think it's possible.  Really-- if you're not involved in the hobby then at least have something interesting or funny to say.   To pop off just for the sake of popping off (what you call being "contrarian") really seems to have no value to anyone but yourself.  Honestly, I have no problem with you being here (even though I still think it's really fucking weird) but considering you are only a lurker do you really have to weigh in on every topic?!

Early on, I wrote the following in a PM exchange with another memeber.  "Why do I feel like I've landed in the middle of a John LeCarre novel?"  Later I wrote "This is why I chose LeCarre as my metaphor.  None of the characters ever knows what's really going on, or even which of the others is on what side."  

Some of you have a lot more facts at your disposal than I do. Some of you may even think that you know enough to have it all worked out.  I think you're wrong.  We're all still in the same predicament as LeCarre's characters.  Except of course the somebody(s) who set this whole mess off, whether that be LE, some wacko guy, a provider with an issue, or something else entirely.

In the same correspondence, I also wrote "I take back about them "being stupid".  Intelligent people are capable of doing incredibly stupid things on occasion, especially in high stress, emotionally charged situations."  Lord knows there are enough examples to choose from, but in the interest of fairness and peace I'll use myself as the example.

In my last post I stopped barely short of accusing Lara's accusers of hiding behind LE activity (which now may or may not be LE activity) to get revenge for the child abuse report.  Could I have been more wrong?  Maybe, but only by trying very hard.

Some of my "facts" turn out not to be facts at all.  Others I just plain misinterpreted.  It would have been better had I heeded the advice I quoted at the end of that post rather than venting my anger.

Oh, and I consider myself a pretty intelligent guy by and large.

I could make this a very long essay (some might say I already have) so I'll close with a brief comment on aliases.

I have no problem with aliases in general.  In fact I usually regard comments like "why are you hiding behind some bullshit alias?" as a cowardly way of ducking the issue.  BUT, when personal credibility is at the heart of the issue, identity is important.  I'm not saying the use of an alias even then is always wrong.  But everything in life is a tradeoff.  Whatever you gain by using an alias, some loss of credibility is part of the cost.  This point is completely general, not just about heardit2.

I have no clue if LE is a prime mover or just an amused spectator to all this, but either way we've sure given them some laughs over the last few days.  Could there be a lesson for us all in that fact?

I got to tell you, though, that one of the greatest aspects of the board is the exposure it offers to a variety of rather odd but yet useful words. Sheesh... Look, I'll level with you. It's true, recently I haven't seen any providers, hence no reviews; however, by no means am I a stranger to the hobby. Moreover, if the "86" in your handle is any indication of your age, well then... let me just say that I did the majority of my hobbying right around the time you were born. At that time I lived in Santa Monica and there was no Internet. Providers were found using the Hollywood Press, and things were quite different -- far better! Maybe that's one of the reasons I come of to you all as a grouch! In short, the quality of the hobby has unfortunately deteriorated, and it pisses me off!  Judging by what some of you fellows write on this board, I feel that the hobbiest is the party responsibe for the decline in the hobby's quality, especially here in San Diego! Anyway, it doesn't really matter. Everyone here is entitle to thier own opinion and their own position regarding the hobby... so there's no need to attack! I just thought I'd give you all a little more about my background -- take it for whatever it's worth!

As far as hobbying going downhill I guess I don't have your perspective.  But of the several girls I've tried lately I've found that when it hasn't gone right it's usually because I made a mistake evaluating the information available.  Too often I think we pay attention only to what we want to happen and ignore the possible negatives.  Looking back at your last post I realize I might have just agreed with you.  Hmmmmph.  Peace.
