I offer incall in the daytime and it works out ok.maybe that would work better for you

its like most guys want incall in the day over lunch from work and early afternoons. so thats when I have incall. night is more for outcall for me. so maybe youd have more luck if you picked a daytime to have your incall and see how it works out.

Hi everybody. I am kind of new to TER. Currently I am strictly an outcall provider at least until I find a better living situation. I have been told that offering only outcall is hurtful business wise because it limits me mostly to out of towners. I disagree with this but I would like some input on this subject please. Thank you.

Outcall may not limit you to 'out-of-towners' but it both limits the number of quality clients who will call you and perforce may put you in situations that are uncomfortable for you.  Look around on the board and you will note that the providers receiving the most positive reviews and the most business are almost all 'in-call' only.  Look forward to seeing you the next time I'm in San Diego.

just rent a hotel room one or two days per week and that becomes your incall location.  You can always charge slighly higher rates to cover the additional expense.

There is also always the Dolphin hotel in Point Loma.

I tried offering incall on a Friday night a few weeks ago. I posted a message on TER and it was posted on my website. I really didn't get that much of a response. So I have been kind of hesitant to offer incall again. Also doesn't the dolphin motel charge by the hour?

Providing only outcall won't hurt your business as long as your reviews show that you are a normal and quality provider. You cannot do incall (see more than one client per day) at the dolphin. If you do they will ban you and it is a very convenient place to meet. I have provided almost exclusively outcall and do very well.  I do occasonally do incalls at hotels and good rates can be found during the week which is for me the most productive time to do incall. I also find that the fact that I rarely cover the cost of the room seems to eliminate those who really can't afford to hobby regularly so the ones I see tend to turn into regulars which is the key to having fun, making money and not working yourself to death. Just my 2 cents. you will always get those guys that think because they like incall so much it has to hurt you not to provide it but since I only have so much time to see clients anyway it has not been hard to stay booked with outcalls only

I prefer incall only because I know the provider will be there.

I have been stood up by a top 10 provider and had miscommunications (about length of time) with another. I know you ladies have this issue as well, but it makes it that much harder on us trying to find someplace during the day as GingerGirl indicated.
How many places will let you make a reservation before noon?

Outcall is a hassle for professional business men.  They want hours they can fit into their sched w/o interfering with family life - make's sense right?
Well. most upscale hotels have a 3pm check in time, so it's not too convienient for the gentlemen who probably wants to meet you around lunch time.  The gentleman also does not want the hotel bill appearing on his credit card where his wife might see it.

IMHO, incall is the best if you want to atract and retain an upscale clientel

Well i have solved that problem by being willing to take care of the hotel arrangements. I have found several places that have allowed me an early check in, provided of course they had the room. Typically mid range places that cater to the business man. I call and request it and most places will accomodate if there capacity is under 70% I also put the room in my name. I only ask that they compensate me for it. I found some great rooms for well under a hundred bucks that are ready between noon and 1pm several times. I am however planning on doing incall next week at one of these great hotels as I have found a new place that has Great brand new suites with all the ammenities. lots of room and some very big mirror :) I will be posting above about it.

Have a policy that i only do first dates at a Motel near my home and it is nice and only $50.00 and then after that i will see them at my home and it works out very good for me

either way its $$ that could have gone into your pocket.  As a gentleman, I am always much more careful in screening providers that do only outcall.   (Smart customers screen too!) The risk goes both ways.
