One of the reasons I hobby is because I'm rather sexually inexperienced for my age, which is embarrassing when I try to meet women. I go to providers because they don't judge and hopefully I can learn something. However, because I have a more shy and passive personality, I tend to let the provider take the lead, which usually means them getting on top and riding me to completion. Even though I enjoy myself, I don't actually come away learning anything. So I was wondering if it would be better to just approach providers with the premise that I want someone to help me to practice and enhance my sexual technique. Are there any providers out there that would have the patience and open-mindedness to coordinate with me on this kind of session?

Here are a few suggestions:
- first, contact a few ladies in your price point who interest you
- open with this and see if they are open
- choose whomever gives you a vibe you're comfortable with and enjoy!

I also would consider explaining your expectations:
- do you want direction  
- do you want patience  
- do you want help taking charge or be taken charge of

Enjoy and just try to relax. Sex is fun and we are all here for that right? Fun (and sex). Heehee

I am in the very same circumstance as you.
Until 2.5 years ago, I was a virgin. Even though I have been with a few women [mainly from a couple of Asian agencies] since then, I am still very inexperienced.
My suggestion to you is that you find an ATF [All Time Favorite] provider. This way, you can develop a regular rapport (relationship?) with her, someone with whom you can be with comfortably. Someone with whom you can be yourself. Someone who'll be willing to help & teach you what you want to learn.  
I'm speaking from experience. I have an ATF.  She makes me feel great about myself. She understands me and is always ready & willing to teach me things.

f you want to learn. Ask questions. The female should be honest and be upfront with her answers.. That is the best way.  Trial and error...  mind you- not all females are the same... "different strokes for different people"
