Hello Jessica and TER Members,
It's crazy isn't it?  Business is almost non-existent!
What are we all going to do?   Besides being broke, possibly
homeless, being almost out of my cherished wipes and Clients,
with said Clients possibly experiencing major "blue-balls"...
the end seems imminent? ;(

Thank goodness, I usually stock up on the basics of
Water, candles, matches, soap, body wash, cleaning products,
Laundry Detergent and paper goods.
However, I sent a list with family trekking out to three Walmarts, a Target
and Albertsens and the following shelves were completely empty:

Water, Milk, Juices, Iced-Tea, Eggs, Hand Sanitizer, Wipes, Band-Aids, Rubbing
Alcohol, Peroxide, Ammonia, Bleach, Tp, Paper Towels.
Additionally Canned Goods such as Soup, Veggies, and Rice et al.....
(Just a few tiny bottles left of Laundry Detergent however were found!!)

How is it personally affecting you Jessica, and the reading Members?

How is your life changing by all this? I see no one discussing this so I like to start this tread.

....about all the crazy shopping that was about to happen before it did. The few people I told thought I was literally crazy a few weeks ago before it all happened and totally ignored me. So it was quite discouraging. Every one seemed to listen to Trump hiding their head in the sand.

What I noticed though shopping around, is that some grocery stores has a lot of things still depending on where you look. In my neighborhood there is almost everything still available. I moved to a new house east of downtown where people do not have as much money so they cant afford to hoard as much. Plus they let a few people in at a time and limit the goods to a few items of same sort so they will not run out. Smart.

In Sweden they intentionally let the kids get sick first of the virus, to actually build up a large crowd of immune people and not chock the system with a lot of sick older people that needs a lot of hospital care. Since this whole shut down will just crash the economy. They try to keep it away from the older people until a vaccine is there. Due to the length of time it will take to get a vaccine in place it will not help to try to avoid the virus. Just let the virus get young people immune, that way the virus will die out that way instead, or at least cause less chaos all at once. I feel it is a very daring and perhaps a brilliant way of approaching this problem.

South Korea has limited its spread very efficiently but in order to keep that order they need to stay isolated. Then what? They will have to keep them selves isolated in order to remain like that. That is not a very good solid solution. I do believe the Swedish approach is thinking further ahead.

I understand that it is a very scary and debatable approach. But what if it works  and is the the quickest to solve this issue? Then brilliant. The hospitals will definitely feel overwhelmed there and here pretty soon either way. But Sweden might come out ahead out of this. It will be very interesting to see how it goes.

I do not believe we can not shut down the world to stop this spread because the financial consequences will be larger than the virus it self will cause.

Japan can forget its Olympics. I do not care about sports anyway but I found it surprising that Japan still planning its Olympics. I think it is obvious it will not happen. Even a non-sports person like me is realizing  that.

By the way Angelina if you are not able to pay rent you are welcome to stay with me and pay less in rent, that way we both can help each other. I live in two units and I could have you stay in one with separate entrance.

Think of all the doubles we can do...oh..la la..;-)

I hope you and every one will get busy and stay busy.

I wonder how many hobbyists are on lock-down, not solely because of covid-19 avoidance but because offices are encouraging people to work from home, if possible, and their SO's are at home too.  No way to utilize the fortress of solitude/freedom that is/was their office time.  LOL.

Look what's happening in China when couples are quarantined!

You can always sneak out...when there's a will there's a way...

....have some fun while you are in my neighborhood. I know you feel stressed from all of this and you like to get it on, while your wife will not. So to save the marriage we are the cheapest solution. I throw in massage for extra relaxation.

Hello,

I just came back to San Diego and what a beautiful timing for me (oh yay)...but i am not letting what's happening to keep my spirit down...lot's of people are concerned...Question is how long are you, or the rest of the people are gonna linger on that concern...What if this concern takes a year or more and so??? ...Don't let the media rule your life...I don't want to sound sarcastic but the more that you think of this negative energy, the more that you attracts it...i always keeps my spirit up and staying positive...i always hand sanitize and clean to keep the germs away...After all we only live once and why not enjoy our days in the Universe...Keep 'SMILI'N...Have an Awesome Day...

First let me say I’m in AZ and we don’t have as bad a situation as CA. To answer your question,  prolly when the 15 day period requested by  Wash DC ends. Then I’ll reassess.

Staying at home... catching up with family/ relatives
Thought phone calls of course... Thank goodness for  internet.

Nothing better than keeping ourselves safe and others.
I enjoy my homey place... plenty of time to work on my new website, and organize my personal things that I have procrastinated for a little while. Why making sure the priorities are taken care of.
There’s so much to do at home. No need to be out. If we don’t have too.

Ps
I’ll be taking play dates once all this settles in. Safety is a must.

Remember, I will be screening my new friends.
