A girl that I know has apparently a somewhat explicit video of hers circulating the web and she wants to have it completely removed. Is there a way to do it, and what's the best advice one could give her?
Any advice is greatly appreciated!testlemp appointed

i have heard of this happening before: ladies regretting a video either linked or made for the internet. i really really hope u guys can get it removed but let this be a lesson to everyone that once it's on the net it may not come off the net.

You would probably need an attorney and get a court order. And still once its out there.......

You can petition the site that is hosting it to have it removed. Some  sites will simply remove it by request. For others it might take a threat of legal action, or actual legal action. Start by just contacting the sites but you may need to get a lawyer. Start right away before it spreads more.
However you must realize that if it is on the net, people have downloaded it, and if they downloaded it they can easily upload it on other sites. Which is why I said what I said in my subject line, and Mila alluded to that in her post of being careful what you put on the net. You should assume that anything you put on the net, is there forever!

Unless she has millions of dollars, time, and a group of attorney's, you'll never get rid of it. Particularly if it's good. The only thing you can really do is just let time do it for you. Eventually it will be stored in some server and purged. Other than that, not much you can do.

She "might" be able to claim copyright infringement, in which case, if she has any resources at all, she could look into the Porn Police.

May not be viable, but it doesn't hurt to have a conversation with them about the topic.

Does anyone have any experience with this "pornopolice"? Is it just a big waste of money?

I have had a couple of friends in certain industries use their services.  They are pretty thorough, but it's not cheap...ask if they have some type of guarantee...???
