You get white-listed by providers who have had a positive experience with you and have chosen to say so on TER in the white list section. I's a mini version of hobbyists giving reviews of providers. There is no detail (that I can see) other than your name is on the list, meaning that provider found you to be a good guy. Possibly providers see more info but I wouldn't know.

So you have to have a good track record.

Take a look under "reviews" at "search the white list" and search for the handle of any of the hobbyists who post regularly to see if they are white listed.

You can improve your odds by seeing only providers who have chosen to white list others, and then behaving yourself.
