I really miss all of the banter and action too!

Soooo, thought I would ask if any of the ladies care to share.......

How and why did you choose your online persona name to be what it is?

People will laugh I am sure, but I choose "Jenni" even though it is not spelled the same, after the character on "Forrest Gump".  I went through a period in my 20's where I spiraled out of control.  Like many I got into the cocain thing.  Started out with pot, tried LSD, mescaline etc..and the fun of it did not last long, went to rehab and that's the end of that part.  But I always admired the way Forrest loved her unconditionally.  I rejected sweet guys like him when I was young, I didn't know that they are often the greatest lovers!  So it is also a tribute to sweet, sensitive, yet hot sexy men.

Anyway, I also choose the name because it is simple, feminine, and I never liked my real name which is a more provocative name.

Hugz!

if the hobbyists join in too? I loved your story, mine is not so interesting at least how I picked my handle. I needed to join TER now!  All I could come up with was that I should have started this hobby 10 years earlier and now I am almost "2late".

I wonder how your namesake would feel about the honor you have bestowed upon her.

I applaud your openness.

And I am with you about the board...but maybe we can contribute to making it busier. I know I'm game.

I am sure she would roller again & again because she is a real church woman & I am always down to make my home cities board a better place.  What happened to our M&G that would still be cool & I am available to still help with that as well!

fellas too!  Thanks 2late!  Yes, I actually feel the same way, should have started 10 years earlier too.

I was too busy being a "good girl".  But inside, I knew I always wanted to be here.  I was always as fascinated as everyone else is about this supposedly "dark" world.

THANKS 2late!

Hugz,

number.  You should know who you are, but you called me yesterday (Names starts with "R") after you read this thread.  I "butt" dialed you (unknowingly, must have hit a button while poking around in my purse), but I got a call from you this morning, you didn't leave your number in your voice message, soooo if you see this, call me back because I don't know which number in my phone is yours.....

Since I moved to California a little over 10 years ago many have often commented on my Southern Belle like characteristics and behaviors, from my accent to manners and hospitality.  This actually started when I was a child spending summers and holidays growing up in Montana.  They always picked on me lovingly about how I 'tawked' and the way I did things differently.  I was ok with being different and still am.

When I opened my account with Cityvibe my first choice was Bella, a slight variation of Belle.  The name Bella was taken and my representative suggested I not take the same name.  I was clueless but took her advice.  Belle was the obvious next choice and I loved it.  It suits me and I wouldn't mind being named Belle in the 'real world.'  Some of my good friends use it interchangeably with my real name.  I could pass for either!

Fascinating and fun reading.  My handle came from a license plate I saw many years ago.  While it refer to  golf, par is usually 72, and 3 under is ....
