has anyone heard of or used this verification service. I do not have a good felling about having my personal info with them. Any thoughts?

I have used Datecheck for myself and others. I find it is a helpful tool. Typically you are invited by a known Date Check member. They have a number of members.

I never had them ask a lot of mandatory personal informaion. If you are referred by a memeber it takes very little info. and all of two seconds to do. Perhaps there is a difference between being invited by a known member or just applying from scratch. It is useful. If someone refers you you quick and painless..

I have been using them for a while with good results. Their website could probably do a better job of explaining how it works, but it is all about references. You don't get in without one, she doesn't get in without one. The more references you get the better it works. You can get your references documented right away, so if it has been some time and her memory is vague, it doesn't matter. It is kind of like the review section on TER only in reverse.  And, the best part, you do not have to give personal info for the system to work.
