Reading many reviews I find that many make no mention of showering before getting intimate.
Some gents mention having just showered, so they pass on the shower offered.  Does that mean they showered within the past 15 or 30 minutes, or are they referring to 2, or 3,  or 4 hours ago?
    In my case, my home shower is always 3 or 4 hours prior to my date.  I feel that is too long, the Boss and his boys have been huddled together too long to be considered clean, so I always ask to shower.
    I also ask my date to join me in the shower.  If she opts out, I have to hope and trust that she had showered just minutes before my arrival.  Showering together, for me, is the ideal scenario.
I thoroughly enjoy our cleaning each other, especially where it matters the most.  I realize it cuts into the time spent in other activities, but it is foreplay that certainly helps me to perform better.
    So my questions are.....
     (1) Does it take place, but is just not being reported in the reviews?  
     (2) Is it just that the Asian providers practice cleanliness more than other providers

Shower with my clients! I'm usually the first to ask. I have been lucky to never have to request a shower to a gent as they are usually fresh. So I believe it depend on the shower but if you would like me to wash your back later...
 

Having hobbied Down Under, in Europe, and in Asia, I'd say the norm for most desirable providers I've been with elsewhere has been to offer a shower, and in fact insist on it.  It seems to be standard practice in many managed facilities in those parts of the world, and extends far beyond the Asian service mentality.  I always feel its a sign of high class when the provider joins you there too, and its a great way to break the ice.  I was initially shocked when I encountered a lack of showering here in the US.  I've been surprised that quite a number of supposedly high-quality providers here don't insist on it, or even offer it.  I usually ask for one if its not been offered, and again I've been surprised by the looks on some providers faces indicating a sort of "well if you insist" attitude.  Personally, I feel its sends the right signal, no matter how recently you've showered elsewhere - indicating that you respect your body and hers and that personal hygiene is one of your priorities.  I even have a toothbrush and toothpaste in the car and make sure my breath is fresh before I go inside.  Yeah, I probably sound anally retentive, but at least I'm clean.  For me, there's nothing more of a turn off than bad breath, or body odor in its various permutations according to location.  Just my two cents.

My man, you are right on as far as I am concerned.  You expressed my opinion better than I could have.  Years ago when I frequented massage parlors for my sex, it was normal for the girls to shower with me both before and after sex.  Probably why I think it is normal and even necessary.

Sorry, my dear, but you are kidding yourself if you think all those guys had just showered (unless you were in their hotel rooms).  I am much more concerned about showering before, not after.

End off! And in all honesty it does not matter if individually or together, your choice but how dare some decline a shower considering they are about to ask a woman to be super intimate with them!

You said it.  Guys, if she suggests a shower, take the hint and take the shower.  It doesn't necessarily mean she thinks you stink.  Its just common hygiene.  And if she climbs in next to you, then its a lot of fun as well.  When she doesn't suggest it, or insist on it, I'm always left wondering how long it has been since she took one, and just how serious is she about personal hygiene.  It works both ways in my book.  Ladies, take the hint as well!

If a girl refuses a tandem shower before/after the session I would deduct a review point LOL if reviewing.  

I would never advocate face or hair getting lathered up, it's below the neck that concerns me.
Also, that's where all the fun is anyway.

Being clean and fresh is best!

Ladies have a thing about getting their hair wet, and I understand.  It takes a while to dry and style, especially if you have long, silky blonde hair  Every so often when I get a haircut at more upmarket places, they'll wash my hair too as part of the deal.  And I have to say it feels great having a woman's hands massage my scalp and run water through my hair.  Must do that some time in a session, if someone's willing.

i always shower immediately before i leave for a date.  but if the lady asks me to shiwer again i have no problem with it.
