Spent a few weeks on the site reading reviews and checking boards, and would like to take the plunge and have my first experience.  Any recommendations for ladies that might appreciate taking care of a first-timer?  Would you recommend letting the lady know that this is the first time?  Thanks in advance.

I would find a lady that interests you, let her know that this is your first time and stick to someone who is well reviewed.

I agree 100%. A seasoned provider will be more sensitive to the fact you are new and she will take things at a pace that will hopefully not make you feel rushed. Go for a well reviewed provider who has reviews that show she does what you are looking for. Don't be a phone pest and don't try to talk about services or price over the phone. You can find that on her review. Just let her know you are new and she will take care of the rest. Good luck

I concur that telling the provider this is your maiden voyage is a good idea. You should consider a more experienced woman who has been reviewed well. Susanne would be a great choice, for example. Good luck
