I have had mine. Who else? I also am frequently tested for HIV, G, Sip and Hep C. It's not spoken about much, but back channel tells me it needs to be more in the front. Open forum.....opinions please.
I go to planned parenthood in mira mesa every 60 days..theres no excuse why people shouldn't go when its 100% Free if you tell them you cant afford any payments...they give you 40 condoms and a large tube of lubrication too so it saves you so much money.
the mira mesa pph office is Never longer then a 30 minute wait..
unlike a lot of others whom make you wait 2-3 hours bc its so busy.
You can get all your own results via online or over the phone (888#)
the hiv results come immediately but everything else No longer then 7 days..
its 100% confidential and again its 100% Free!! and co-ed men & women
safety first!!
Awesome info! Thank you, Diamond girl!!
Thanks MisterJ
Xo
I go to the VA Clinic (practically free for me). I was actually thinking of going to PP because it's a little awkward explaining to my gyn and primary Dr why I feel the need to go get checked so often lol. PP seems a little more on the down low. I'm not too concerned with the $ since I have my VA benefits and private insurance. But good to know. Thanks!
There are also in home HIV kits you can purchase at the drug store. They are about $40.00 at CVS.
Be safe! These tests aren't so scary if you know you always protect yourself!

im really glad my info has helped people...
PPH doesn't ask nor do they care why your in there so many times..... the drs and nurses im sure are glad to see people get checked out all the time bc they are sick of seeing diseases get spread
glad to know people are safe TOO !
XOXO
Even if I only had 1 partner I would go every month, so I could be happy hearing a professional tell me I am good. GYT!
I recall back in the day going several times a month in LV at the brothels they have a DR there that see's the providers at least once a week
Unfortunately, the subject is "taboo". People think if they don't discuss it, it does not exist. I'm not sure about this board, but if stds are discussed on another board, the thread is immediately closed.
....will also not charge for testing if one claims he/she is unable to pay....
HOWEVER any guy or gal on this site ought to be able to pay the $15 requested fee.
I was tested yesterday at the Rosecrans St main office. Since I always want a "hard copy" of the test results, unfortunately a return visit is always necessary.
An added bonus of yesterday's visit:
Had an interesting conversation with the young female health worker about the free comdoms in the "candy jar" on her desk. She said all of them were "large" but that she had "regular" if I need those. I took some, saying that if they were comparable to Magnums might work. A wink and smile was her response.
Good info. Cannot be discussed enough IMO.
That no one is getting Hep B vaccinations? It's three injections and a follow up test. The injections are weird, you hot flash and feel dizzy for 15 seconds and then it goes away.
Nearly all health care providers get the Hep B vaccination, so that should shine some validity on how important it might be.
Many employer's will do this for free for you. it's worth checking into
I got all 3 of my shots in the 10th grade..so about 11 years ago..
it was a rule for EVERYONE and if you didn't get the shot you couldn't attend anymore..
I was asked by my physician last summer and he had it faxed to him from my high school so I didn't need a repeat one.
BUT if you CANT rememeber IF you got the shot my Dr told me it definetly doesn't hurt to be given it twice
im from boston Massachusetts and it amazes me hearing this bc I would think ALL states and schools would require this :/
sorry for completely missing that part originally misterjjj :P
I got it when I was in the Army, among many other vaccinations.
