I am new to the board so I'm not sure this is the right place to post this. I have been trying to track down Renn, a provider in Portland. I saw her about 3 weeks ago and she was planning to get married that weekend and move. I ran into her at PDX the next day and she  was picking up her fiance. She sent me an email about 2 weeks ago letting me know the wedding was off because he was abusive and she was staying in Portland after all. I have not heard from her since. Her web site is down, phone has been changed, and she is not answering emails. If anyone has heard from her, I just want to make sure she was safe and ok.

an abusive and then (in his mind) jilted fiance may be harrassing her.  Give it some time, she may resurface.

I know the tendancy for many men is to go into white knight mode, it is our nature to protect, but think carefully.  What would you really do if you knew she was not "safe and OK"?

I am sure she is a capable woman, able to take care of herself.  She has your email, you know this already.  If she really wanted or needed your help and felt safe enough with you she would contact you and ask for help.

She is most likely fine and probably just needs some time to get her act togaether, this is a pretty big event in someones life and I suspect she just needs some time....and maybe a little distance.

Keep your eyes and ears open, she may just resurface in time.

I saw her last week.  She's doing great, told me she's happy for all of the support she has received and she'd ready to move on.  

Website is back up and running as well.
