My business travels will take me to Portland next month. I concur with Fatherj I am also of the cautious sort, however I surmise your legimate because I don't think a police officer is articulate as you.

Good luck.

First, I would like to introduce myself for I am very new to the board.  Subsequently, to those perusing my posting and all members of “TER” I present my fondest “hellos.”

Obviously, I am (at least at present) limited by the confines of cyberspace; thus my kindest of greetings – those that reside in the realm of sensory pleasures – can perhaps be explored latter.  But I digress…

My central point is well summarized by the posting title.
I have come to bear some troubles resulting from the overwhelming turmoil in our national economy.   As a business professional, I was recently laid off and now find myself quite frustrated for I was just told I’m not eligible for unemployment insurance because my former employer didn’t pay into it.

Without entering some long diatribe about the political economy of greed and the like – I will just say this…. my financial options are seemingly now condensed into temporarily entering “the hobby.”

Soon that note… I am a 5'8 fit (size 12 jeans - think normal frame - not anorexic), blond hair, blue-eyed 31 year-old.

As you probably have surmised by my inherent tendency to be somewhat verbose – I have a graduate degree in the social sciences and love great conversation…
I also love to give massages – for soothing an achy body is a critical step in reaching sensory bliss.

So in closing, I pose the following invitation to those lovely gentleman seeking ethereal pleasures and sensory bliss:
If you would like to spend some time with a classy, refined intellectual woman who gives, a great massage (and is quite skilled in other realms of which shall unmentioned here :-)
send me an email - we can go from there.

Uberbliss,  I feel your pain in regards to the present economic status of our country and I understand your situation.  Where are the polititians when you need them?  A company that didn't pay your unemployment?  They should be arrested and put in jail!

I have been a regular hobbiest for about 3 years now.  I can tell you most of the gentlemen who participate are in fact just that.  Rarely will you encounter a real jerk because those guys generally don't have the personal skills to make the kind of living that can afford them this luxury. Although there are a couple out there, but this forum should help you weed them out.

Your posting intregues me and I am tempted to meet you (today in fact!) but we all have to be very careful about this kind of thing you know.  How do we know you are legitimate?  How can we trust that we won't walk into a sting operation?  This is the delema we face.  What kind of assurances can you provide so we can in fact meet and get to know one another better?  Fatherj

Well FatherJ - frankly I knew where to post because - what seems a decade ago... (actually it was just a few years ago) I briefly participated in the hobby.  However, my handle was different - as well as my life circumstances.  I did use the same vernacular - and was often teased for my academic tone.

I am sure as I continue to post on some of the boards - my old identity will soon be recognized.  But truthfully - I almost hope this does not happen...(although my reviews were always fabulous) because I was truly a different person and my rationale for participation was very, very different...

I understand the hesitation with newbies and I have subsequently been contemplating whether or not to reintroduce myself. But again, because of my pride in how far I have came since then... I wanted to start anew.

Part of the reason my original post was so ethereal was because I was still deciding which route to take.

I realize that my mental conundrum does little to reassure you. I could of course regurgitate the details of my new life - spewing ridiculous boring details on my work situation (although NOT ON A PUBLIC BOARD - discretion is critical as it always has been for me)...  I am sure after about 5 minutes of hearing this... you will be begging me to shut up...  and you know the best way to shut a girl up is put something in her mouth. C'est tres bien!  LOL

However I digress... I guess my point is that because of the remarkable steps I have taken these past few years; discretion and safety are just as important to me as I am sure they are to you.

Note that every time I thought I had a suggestion regarding proving my authenticity to you - well I would delete it - because of my paranoia - I started questioning how I could know that I wasn't walking into a sting.

Ahh life's conundrums!

Perhaps you have some suggestions.... and yes I know I should probably catch up on my reading on the boards...

Uberbliss,  I think if you should decide to re-enter the hobby a web site or posting on Citivibe would be very helpful in getting someone to commit to the first meeting and review.  Once that is done, everyone feels more at ease for sure.  I for one never see anyone without reviews even though I am quite taken by you at this point!  The fact that you are unsure about re-entry into the hobby makes meeting you all the more exciting for me.  I don't want to sound unsympathetic to your situation, but well, it's hard to find intellegent companionship these days. If I knew who you were in your prior life (before I was involved in the hobby) I might feel more confident about meeting you. Make sense? I also am not a pro at working these posts and don't know if this one is for public view or just for you alone.  Would love to exchange info. Fatherj

No one has any understanding of what's going on. They think they can work for money honorlessly.  Let's give the female alterers of money the power to decide what to create and we'll have the first ideas that have any merit.
