So guys, would you marry your provider or favorite PS and would you be OK with her still "working" at her craft ?

How would you handle it - or could you personally?

I have seen one provider with whom I would give it a go, but I would definitely not want her to continue providing, due to various risks and uncertainties.  However, I could live with her remaining in the business (doing g/g) and us swinging together (in theory).  I haven't done that before in any relationship, so I say "in theory, because I'm not sure I could handle the reality.

i don't think any of us need to worry about this question, as none of us would probably marry a provider.  they are not interested in us, only the benjamins in our pocket.  if they were to marry you or date you, they would lose out on  your business!!

I wouldn't marry her, but I'd live with her unto eternity and let her regale me with tales of her slutty escapades. I would expect her to reciprocate the gesture, of course.

I'd marry her but wouldn't need the details and once we had enough money between the 2 of our incomes I'd want her to want retire.

I'd marry my ATF provider or favorite PS. She can continue to "work her craft" as long as we have a Prenup that benifits us both. Not much different than any other open relationship.

Call me twisted but one of my biggest turn ons is dating girls that do porn and provide.  Im into the whole voyeuristic domination thing, them telling me stories and me punishing them for being a bad girl/hustler.

good point...all of us probably feel the same, but ultimately would need her to "retire" etc.  Sounds good in theory and fantasy, but reality is different

My answer splits between the two:
I would have NO problem with a PS wife who continued to make movies.  They have a limited career, so let them work until time dictates that they retire.
I would have a problem with a provider who continued to work (or a PS who saw clients).
Of course, the right beautiful woman could make me re-think all of that....

I would have a relationship with my provider.  If it happens to progress to marriage so be it.  I believe that it is best to know that she is providing than have her do it behind your back.

That being said, I would have a problem with her continuing to work but would support her decision to do so.  As long as the both of us are honest with each other.  It's the deception that would kill the whole thing.

Not necessarily... Ava Devine married a hobbyist, Kitty Yung married a hobbyist and TER member and I know one or two other PSEs who married clients.

Even if you answered yes to the question, I think for most guys eventually it would bother them that she was still escorting.

Another issue is that unless you're a wealthy guy who could support her very comfortably (and I'm assuming that if you are, she wouldn't need to continue to work, so it's not a problem), then she's probably making a lot more money than you are, especially if she's a PSE.  That presents the problem of people thinking that you're her "suitcase pimp", true or not, and would eventually cause resentment.

And forget the sexual aspect; it's also a financial one.  Either it would eventually bother most guys that she was the major "bread-winner" or it would eventually bother her that she was fucking lots of strangers to support you.  And if she gave up escorting for you, it could one day bother her that she gave up the more luxurous life-style that she enjoyed previously.

There's a lot of pitfalls to it... Would I do it?  Yes, I probably would; but I know that in the long run it'd be a tough road to hoe. (No pun intended - lol)

I couldn't handle her doing porn, much less escorting.  I know this sounds odd coming from me, but I am very monogamous and don't like to share (threesomes with hot girls being the exceptions).

The flip side is that if you ask her to quit, you have to be prepared to support her.  If she is your life partner, that should not be a biggie.

As a matter of fact, I am engaged to a PS, she just doesn't know it.  We have a wedding date 2 years, 250 days from today.

Ava Devine proposed to me, well she said "marry me" so I am inclined to think that she just wanted to get married.  She barely knew me the hour when she said it and she was serious.

Me, I laughed nervously and she seemed rather frustrated.  Would I have a problem with her still working, probably, BUT could I always satisfy her and fill all of her sexual needs.....

excellant point - especially about her feeling she gave up her lifestyle. Don't most want to ultimately give up and lead a normal "single partner" life? They all say so at some point.

As usual, your answers are always "spot on" !!

I want to say yes, but I know it would be tough. Obviously I would know about it so I don't think it's fair to ask her to just stop all together, plus the extra $$ would be nice. But thinking of her sleeping with a ton of guys isn't something I think of in a committed relationship, especially since personally I don't plan to hobby myself once I'm devoted to someone.

If we relaxed the rules a bit and she did her thing and I was allowed to perhaps get back into it maybe that would help. Maybe if she kept her "job" (porn shoots, videos, etc) but turned the providing into something low-volume, even UTR sort of that might help.  Since I'm not in that position and have never been close to it I can't honestly say.

i have actually been down this road.  my advice...forget about it.

i was seeing a provider who after one visit became my ATF.  we had appointments 2-3 times/week for a few months, and then one night WE realized that WE had actual feelings for each other.  we began dating, and for a while she stopped the trade.  things were great for a while.  obviously i had no illusions about her past, as we would have never met any other way. so i never let it bother me.  money is no problem for me, so she didn't need to work.

problem was, she didn't really have any other skills, and being a provider was all she knew.  eventually, she fell back into the trade, and the lies started.  i confronted her multiple times on the topic.  denial, denial, denial.  i'm not stupid, and knowing what was going on, my jealousy and resentment grew.  eventually the relationship imploded.

i was left with no girlfriend and no provider.

my advice.  keep the provider-client relationship separate from your real life.  enjoy the fantasy.

Well I think a provider whether that be a pornstar or not would like to get married at somepoint and maybe if the timing and the right circumstances provided themselves then it would be possible but highly unlikely as the odds are stacked against the both of you......In the end highly unlikely but quite possible....With all the pornstars out there and providers there are many that eventually would love to get married and start a family....The problem that you have is that your looking to marry a pornstar/provider and that is where you go wrong...I don't think your ps/provider wants to be looked at as just a pornstar/provider....You need to look beyond them being a ps/provider and only then will it be possible...

I imagine I'm attracted to her because she was in the biz so the door would be open to the idea for me. I'd want to know if she's escorting because she really enjoys it or because she can't do anything else. If a person feels trapped in their job no matter what it is that's not a good sign.

She's probably been with more guys (and ladies) than I can count so I can't very well be a hypocrite and tell her to turn off her horny button for little ol me.

I'd need to know where the love is. Lots of people think monogamy equals love. It doesn't all the time. If I love her, if she has my best interests at heart, and I like her the way she is (even if that means she's an escort or a stripper) then that's all that matters. If I were concerned about safety I wouldn't see an escort in the first place.

Trying to change her would be a contradiction. Like getting mad at a model when guys gawk at her because she's my girl now.

Goldenhawk,
i agree with your statement completely.  i think that is exactly what would happen in most cases. most of the PSE's have done this the majority of their lives and nothing else in the "real world" as far as jobs can bring in the kind of money that these PSE's bring in.  therefore, naturally they will provide again even if they stop.

the only thing which this would work is if the provider you married quit providing, but instead starting working at a strip club.  this would allow her to bring in similar amounts of dollars without the intrusiveness of providing.

by the way, what is your profession which allowed you to marry a provider?

Before my discovery of PSEs, I saw a lot of local providers.  One girl I saw on a semi-regular basis (every couple of months) announced on my latest visit that she had gotten married six weeks previously.  I was suprised to say the least and asked her if her new husband knew what she did for a living... "Oh no", she replied, "He thinks I'm a assistant for a stock broker".  I told her that my ex-wife had been a sales assistant for a stock broker for 8 years, where-upon she gave me an extra two hours in the room and then took me to dinner to grilled me about exactly what a stock broker's sales assistant actually does! :-)
