Unless the software is installed on your phone, what's to be afraid of?

...A loved one who suspects cheating could get hold of your phone, have the software down loaded and listen in to your phone conversations, text messages, and even listen when you're not even using the phone. The phone can become a microphone that can be listened to without anyone knowing, picking up any private conversations within proximity....

If that isn't food for thought, thinking isn't your strong suit.

And, if you scrolled all the way down the article, it gave tips on how to do it without the software by tracking the call and text histories online, etc.

This is why some keep a separate pay as you go phone.

That's why I keep a pay as you go phone locked in my office.

Thats been around for a couple years. Someone has to get ahold of your cell phone, plug it into this device and download the software. Now with those that are married...yes it could become a prob. For the most part, the majority of people dont know about this...well until now lol. Just dont leave it laying around because it tracks txts as well. Just to let yall know.

Not having any significant others who may want to spy on me, it's not the first thing I think of.  I guess in that instance, it's potential trouble.

Like most hacks.. the average person won't be able to do it because..

a - they need to get the phone
b - if it takes a trained tech 2 hours to load the software, how long do you think it'll take the average person?

Simply put.. if you value your privacy.. online or otherwise.. learn a little about the tech you use or don't use any at all.

This hack reminds me of the bluetooth cell phone hack a few years ago.

...but now the download can be done in minutes.
