I know UTR is a common topic...but wanted to get opinions on the agency with the best utr playboy/maxim/fitness/model types (not really interested in porn stars).

But her rates are absolutely insane.  I booked an UTR model for $1000 that she charges almost $3000 for.  Her markup is higher than any agency I have ever dealt with.

If you are making accusations then you need to post the facts to back it up. No need for personal specifics but what happened?

I think I have posted this before.  

I had chatted with Lita Chase several times.  I think I may have even used her for an introduction, I don't remember.

However, some time back, we got into a discussion about her charging $1000 just for access to her website to see who she represented.  The arguments went back and forth in email for a day or two.  My personal opinion was: (1) it's absurd to charge for access to a list of who she represents when no one else does (2) if she has no one I'm interested in, I can't get the money back (3) there's no guarantee that, as she claims, the $1000 would come off the first appointment - I've had problems with other agencies making similar claims and (4) the fee was way too high and, in my opinion, unreasonable.

Anyway, as I said, we emailed back and forth for a while.  At one point, I sent off a message to her.  About 30 seconds later my home phone rang.  I answered it normally with a "Hello?".  At that point, a woman, who I presume was Lita, started screaming into the phone a lot of stuff basically along the lines of "how dare you tell me how to run my business" after which the woman disconnected without giving me an opportunity to say a word.

I object STRONGLY to this.  It's one thing to carry on an email conversation or even an argument.  But, to call me AT HOME?  Without warning?  Without permission?  How did she know I was alone?  How did she know I didn't have someone here?  God forbid I had someone here, and made the mistake of putting the phone on speaker... or even if someone else had answered the phone?  She made no attempt to verify the identity of the person answering.

I consider her actions rude, bad manners, and a clear invasion of my privacy and DEFINITELY grounds for my NEVER, EVER, EVER using her services or recommending her to others.

Wow that sounds like someone unhinged. Was that the contact phone you gave? I have had nothing but good contacts with her email or phone.  Maybe you caught her on a bad day. Still that is unacceptable behavior especially with the sensitive nature of the business here. I don't like the 1k thing either but it's gonna get spent anyway.
