Just wanted to know if someone has been there for real and how it compares with Charlies Angels and Xotic Beach Resort.

I was at Viking for a "Porn Week" event in December 2003. A French director and film crew and various porn stars under contract with Private Studios arrived and filmed scenes for two of the four days, at the main Viking resort.

The porn star I saw in xxx action was "Belladonna" and (as advertised) guests watched the entire filming process from early setup/makeup to, um, climax. I'm not sure about the names of the other porn stars because I spent most of my time, away from the porno gathering, with one of the Viking girls. When she and I returned to the resort the 2nd evening, drunk and happy, I recognized that one of the porn stars sitting on a couch was Angel Long or Ashley Long - they look alike and I wasn't sure which one it was, but it definitely was one of the Long "sisters" from the UK.

Anyway, about the resort and services. It's very much as depicted on cat69.com. The resort is on the north coast of the Dominican Republic ("the DR"). The main house is about 200' from the ocean, although there are VIP suites on, or next to, the beach. The DR beaches are beautiful.

There are usually 6-10 guests and plenty of girls. My fellow guests were interesting and sociable and fun. It's not like you're stuck with a bunch of CEO a**holes on power trips. Right from the start of our timed arrival, the other guys were friendly enough, told jokes, and we all drank like fish.  

But what you really want to know about is the girls. If you sign up for the cat69.com membership ($100 for a year's members access) the girls are really the ones shown on the site. Each one stays there for about a month. In the winter months especially, it's a welcome break from the Kiev weather. Things may have changed since Dec 2003, but here's what I found: first, the girls are really gorgeous, hot, and slim. Nice young firm bodies, beautiful smiles and eyes. They are primarily Ukrainian escorts, models, and some are university students. Most are well-educated cosmo girls who grew up in Kiev, a city of 2.7 million people. If you happen to speak the Ukrainian variant of the Russian language, man you are golden. Just kidding - there is a language barrier, but how much Russian do you need to indicate your intentions?

It's not hard to hook up with an attractive girl. That is, it's not a mad scramble when you arrive to get the "hottest girl." Most guests will try a different girl each night. After our first night, my girl asked if I'd be willing to stay with her the entire time ("hell yeah" I'm thinking) and so I was the selfish guest.

About the services: YMMV, but most guests reported covered BJs, of course covered intercourse, and no PSE/CIM/etc. My guess is that it's still like that, and rumors are that other resorts, such as the ones you mentioned, might be more liberal about BBBJs, etc.

One change since I was there: the resort has more girls from Brazil visiting, which might change the experience for the better. I loved the crazy Russian girls but maybe the Brazilians offer  more pornographic sex?

Finally, you should know a little bit about the Dominican Republic. It's much more affluent than its desperate island neighbor, Haiti. But there is a portion of the DR population that is quite poor. The cat69.com website makes it look like the girls meet you at the airport and you're whisked away in luxury (maybe true for some VIPs). That wasn't the case in 2003 for about six of us guests who arrived almost simultaneously from the US and Canada. After an unfriendly time in DR Customs, we were packed into a little airporter-style van. On the 10-15 minute ride from the Puerto Plata (POP) airport to the main resort, we passed poverty-stricken people and shacks that showed another side of the DR experience. When we got to the resort area, we went through two or three separate security gates ... at the final gate, the guy manning it carried a sawed-off shotgun.

None of that was on our minds as we walked into the resort and were introduced to the lovely girls. I think the closest I'll get to heaven-on-earth was when each of the 6-7 girls walked  up to me, told me her name, and kissed me. Mmmm...

I agree with everything said in previous post about Viking.

I have been to Viking, Charlis, Xotic Beac House and Oxygen Retreat. I have only great things to say about all of them and sponsor an annual trip with a group of 5-10 of my buddies. You will have a great time where ever you go.

Haard to compare as they are all slighly different. In a nushell:

Viking- Best looking girls but can be a little cool
Charlis- Most friendly customer service by staff

Oxygen- Girls are most fun.

I too have been to O2 and the Vikings and both are off the hook great!!

in a nutshell to me:  Vikings, a little more upscale with Russian and Brazilians girls are 7s-10s, with most being 7s and 8s....a little more intimate..usually only 1-2 girls at once...and switching is possible, though if the resort is full, and the guy wants to keep his girl from the night before, he can.  Also, I found Vikings to be very price inclusive with a catch....from the management side, there is nothing that you can buy.  Top shelf booze, massage (legitamate from a massuese), condoms, everything is included....now for the girls....they will try to hit you up for a lot of extras...tips, trips to the local aquarium, trips to the casino...jewelery....etc....you can always say no, and that is cool...but I've heard of a lot of guys losing thier heads and buying these girls whatever they want....$1k and up jewlery etc.....I personally tipped the girls at the end for good service, and all was good.

O2 more of a party atmosphere fuck fest with as many girls as you can handle! Girls range from 7-9s, maybe a 10 (on a good day) mostly 7s and 8s.  But all are Latina and really sexed up....a lot of lezbos.  They claim it is all inclusive and no cash is to change hands...and they hand you a bunch of coupons...for everything from drinks for the girls, 2 hour sessions, tips for the other staff, etc....it is quite annoying knowing what color coupon goes for what.....there is also a lot more nickle and diming....$10 for 3 condoms, top shelf booze extra...drinks for the girls=coupons, that if you run out of, you need to buy more....I just felt like everthing was being monitored from a cost perspective.

Been to Viking's twice.  The first time was a great experience.  So much so, I decided to go back a couple months later.  My first experience was so good, I thought I might be disappointed on a second trip.  My second trip was actually even better than the first.  So good, in fact, that I stayed for 4 days longer than I originally planned to.

The key is finding the right girl(s).  On your first night spend time meeting the girls and instead of just jumping on the first girl you find the 'hottest' go with a girl you gel with the best.  On one trip I wanted the 'hottest' girl but she was occupied my first night, so I went with someone else.  That girl ended up being so amazing that the next day I didn't want the 'hottest' girl anymore and wanted to stick with the same girl.
