As far as I can tell, many PSE's started out doing porn for awhile then at some point in their career's decided to provide. How many ladies were just escorting for a period of time then ended up in porn?
Am I way off base with this, or is it an interesting social question?

I know Diamond Foxx was providing before she started doing porn-  I also met Sara Jay and Ava Devine once and the topic came up- if I remember correctly Sara Jay was an escort first and then a provider- but it could be vice versa- Fast Eddie would know the answer-  Anyway I'm sure there are many others

I started out my porn site back in 1999 and for the first few years only filmed with my "then" husband. Then I started to include filming with other men; and eventually women. *smile*

You're right - Ava Devine started escroting out of high school and then revolutionized the porn world when she was in her 30s. Her logic was that she was already doing alot of things girls do in porn wasn't getting paid nearly as much.

Sara Jay was pursuing a B.S. in psychology until she moved onto stripping. After an onstage injury she started working in amateur porn and eventually got into more mainstream work.

From what I've read, Kagney Lynn Carter and Isis Taylor were both providers prior to entering porn.

Kagney Lynn Carter is so hot.  I wish she went back to providing.  Most girls make much more money escorting than in porn, so I would think it would be more worthwhile to escort.  The porn makes them known, and also gets them higher rates to escort.

Mia Bang used to escort, and then went into porn.  Wish she was still around.  She was hot!

I know a girl who pretty much operates under the radar that was a swinger in her personal life and started escorting because she enjoyed sex so much. She figured it's not a whole lot like work and she might as well get paid for it.

I also heard that Shawna Lenee was an escort before jumping up to porn.

Jenny Hendrix provided before taking the plunge.

Rebecca Love (aka Rebecca Luv) and Diamond Foxxx both were providers first (at around $350/hr) before getting into porn.

Also, many pornstars, including Devon and Gina Lynn, started out as club dancers who decided to do porn in order to become Feature Dancers, who make a lot more money than a house girl.
