First I'm curious why you want to change your name. It doesn't really matter in the end but would wonder if it's cause your current name is too close to your real one, or kinda lame and you wanna spice it up, etc.

I'd also be curious how "established" you are w/ your current name. Again, it probably doesn't make a huge difference.

IMHO as long as you inform your fans and make it clear who you are and what you're changing your name to it shouldn't be a problem. As long as people know so they can still follow you is the important thing.

But with that said, a name is a name and I don't know anyone that see's or likes a certain star simply based on their name alone.

If you do change your name from whatever it may be ..you should make it a unique name that if you searched for it on google only you would pop up. Also you have to make it easy to spell that when searching for it people wouldnt make a common spelling error...many girls make these look extremely unique names that no one knows how to spell. ...good luck

Lots of pornstars have changed their names, but usually they do it when they change their looks.  Briana Banks worked as Mirage when she was a B cup, but when she went huge she changed her name.  Shawna Lenee did a lot of teen gonzo as Kara Bear, but when she went blond and got implants changed her name.

So if you're "remaking" yourself, it makes sense; otherwise I'd just keep it the same.  Just my humble opinion.

.. to change your name is to get control of domain names with your name before someone else swoops in.

But, for instance, Andrea Anderson was getting smoking hot, then changed her name to Chloe Darren and provided a little and dropped off the radar.  Which is a shame....

It also happens when the name is owned by the studio and not the girl, though it appears that wouldn't be the case with the OP.  For example, Adrianna Lynn comes to mind (though it worked out for her because Adrenalynn is a much cooler name IMO).

I changed my name when I first started in the industry.  My old name was Jamie L which was way to close to my real name, but I couldn't think of anything off the top of my head the first week.  Then Memphis Monroe was born :)  She's such a dirty little bitch, I love her lol
