I found out from a friend that Shyla Stylz "retired".  So she must of been what, 25?  So what exactly do they do next?

In the case of Brianna Lee, they enter the workforce, get married, have children - in other words they become "normal".

Lucky for us, many of them escort... In Shyla's case, she invested money in a business that apparently is doing well enough that she felt she could stop making porn and meeting fans.  Other's disappearinto a normal life,  Last I heard one of my ATF's Rachael Ashley became a pharmacist in LA; some work behind the scenes in the business... we say the "retired", but they just really quit one job and moved on to another, the same as anyone else.

My friend Leanni is "retired" -- but she still works at the Mardi Gras #1 in Springfield, Massachusetts, the strip club where she started dancing when she was 19.

However, her days of flying into L.A. every few weeks to do half a dozen porn shoots (over a week-end) are long behind her.  Her career as a dancer at Mardi Gras -- 3-4 day shifts a week for 10 years -- is also finished.

In 2003 Leanni graduated college (finally!), with degrees in both finance and accounting.  Her diplomas are from a prestigious Ivy League university.

Today she does book-keeping for the club owners, and manages the upstairs VIP Lounge and Bar as "hostess".  From what I understand, she runs the place with an iron fist!

Leanni financed her education with her income from Porn.  With her dancing money -- over the years -- she bought real estate in Connecticut and Massachusetts.

Her investments have made her a wealthy young woman.

One would wish every young Porn actress could have this much success!

Hopefully, one of them will become my wife!!!!

That's the model every porn star, dancer, and escort should follow... invest the money in education, real estate, and furtherence of a legit business or career. Maybe at most 1% do though, unfortunately!

I knew an AMP girl here in Atlanta, my ATF back in the mid-90s. She banked her money here and in Korea, invested in real estate here (Buford Hwy area) and in Korea, put some towards some entrepreneurial endeavors, and is pretty well set. Ran into her and her sister at the Armani shop at Phipps a few weeks ago - very chic, "rich girl" looking, you'd never guess that she was doing the AMP thing less just 7 or so years ago. It can happen.

Actually, not just adult biz types... everyone should be doing the same thing.

A few get married. But most of them we call semi retired. That is because they are either escorting, Featuring or they are working for the companys doing office stuff or behind the camera work. It is hard to make it in the real world especially if this is all you know. Take me for example I have doing this since I was 21. The only times I retired was because I was in a relationship. But honestly I dont really have any skills besides.... Well, the skills I have from doing XXX. Also, what the hell do I put on an application for work history??? XOXOX

I don't speak for anyone, but I understand Samantha Sterlyng and Candy Cotton are studying to be nurses, and there is one other who's a registered psychologist in her 40's.

I had a non-porn-star escort a couple of years ago, for whom I was a regular customer. She told me that she preferred escorting to flipping hamburgers, because it was easier work and paid more, and she also told me that she was studying to be a social worker, and, once she finished that and started her new career, the escorting part of her life would be over.

So there's a suggestion for you - get an education, and prepare for a second career, just as most of us get second or third careers when we're into our middle age. And career change is an issue that most escorts - porn stars or otherwise - will have to deal with eventually.
