I'm not opposed to getting tested, as a matter of fact I usually get myself tested once a year through my medical doctor during my annual physical. But that takes weeks to get the results.
Any suggestions of how to go about getting tested on Long Island and what to ask for?

The girl is probably only looking for an HIV, syphillis, chlamidia, and gonorrhea. Those results you should be able to have within one to two business days. You can also go pay for a test directly at a lab and they will email you the results with in a couple of days. Good luck, hopes this helps
I get mine done by my doctor and it only takes a few days for a full set of tests.
However, if you don't want to go through your doctor, you can go to Talent Testing Service and make an appointment with one of their facilities. This is the service that porn stars use. I know they have an address in NYC on Lexington Ave up around 56th where your blood can be drawn and sent for testing. I've been there - it's a nice place. The turn-around time according to their website if you go to one of their facilities is 2 business days on the average.
On the financial end, you pay a fee for the place to draw your blood, a fee for the shipping to the lab, and then a fee from Talent Testing Service for the tests themselves.

I've used TTS draw stations couple times, ie: when my LA trip is shorter, ie; like the Feb. trip...But, most of the time, I'm in LA for 6-7 days, so i just test in LA...I also get script from personal physican as part of routine testing...But since im only booking BBFS appts, i get tested from (industry) places in LA...Again, never had any issues with ANY of the 3 - TTS, CET, and the defunct AIM...
Im back in LA in 2 weeks and will use the CET facility, which is basically a stones throw (well, maybe not a "stones throw" unless you're a pro athlete w/a canon for an arm, but close enough) from the old AIM...
Go check out the sites that the industry uses, either Talent Testing Services or Cutting Edge Testing, both are great services. Look on their websites, and there is a place where you can enter your zip code for a draw station near you. Fill in your information on their site, its confidential, so dont stress about it, and they will give you several draw stations in your zip code. Make your payment to the site (you will probably have to pay a draw fee at the facility you go to) and they will overnight your sample to either business. You will usually get your results back the following day, but give yourself 48 hrs to be safe.
I do it all the time from my home market if I'm heading to LA or Vegas to shoot scenes. Its a little more expensive to get the draw from home, but it saves me the time when I get there.

I suggested to him that he check one of the Industry Testing Companies websites, and there is an area where he can find a draw location NEAR HIM. lol I live on the Gulf Coast, yet get my testing done by TTS...there is a draw location 3 miles from my house...they draw me, and overnight it to TTS, and I have the results back usually the following day.
Long Island is certain to have plenty of draw locations that can help him, and the total cost is like 150 including draw fees and test costs....

My response was meant for the others. but now that you brought it up I did a search using CET & TTS. I came up with one on facility on Long Island from TTS and zero in his area from CET (the closest one being in Manhattan, which for Long Islanders is not exactly convenient). So yeah, it was somewhat helpful. No info on the Long Island clinic's site regarding testing though. Their draw fee is much lower than what you assumed, so I wonder how thorough their procedures are.
It still wouldn't hurt to use Google as I suggested so that one can explore more options.

I believe that on the TTS site, there is also an area that asks if there are any draw stations, Ie Quest Diagnostics, Lab Corp, etc....that are in their area, to let them know and they can be added to the data base for search. When I first used them, there was only 2 locations near me that would do the draw, now I have like 7-8 to choose from.
Sometimes its worth the extra leg work in the beginning to make it worthwhile down the road.

Actually, the testing site in Manhattan is not that hard to get to from Long Island - I know people who have done it. It's a train ride, sure, but fairly easy.
Last I heard, there were no draw stations in Long Island. But, the best thing to do is to contact the company (TTS or CET) directly and ask them. Sometimes they add draw stations that are not on their website
