Well, I don't know who you talked to, or what contact info you used. I can say that, in general, the ladies sometimes decide to no longer escort. Also, they may decide to go UTR which means searching for info on them won't help.
I can't speak for any of the agencies but what I've found in years of this hobby is that if they no longer represent someone, or the person is not currently available, or is unreliable some of the agencies will recommend similar ladies rather than lose your business.
As for why they don't allow reviews, there are many reasons. Some non-porn stars say the same thing - they don't want reviews. In some cases, it's because they don't want to be public about what they offer. Doing so could make it easier for LE to make a case against them. Sometimes, it's because they don't want friends, family, ex-spouses, or others to find out they are escorting. These people may not view escort agency sites so might not find an ad but reviews are more likely to be found via search engines. I've also spoken to some ladies who don't want reviews because they don't want to be put in the situation where they do a particular act with one client (either because she likes him, or he offers more money or whatever) and then have to deal with another client who says "But I saw in the review that you do...". You also hit on some of the reasons.
The issues overall are far more complicated than can be answered in a post here. This is just some general thoughts and comments.
So I have done search and contacted her at multiple sites ( hers, agencies that "CLAIM" she is listed thru them, her contact info on TER, etc..) and have either heard she is no longer with them but they have someone else I would like ( maybe, but there is only one Amy Reid) or I hear nothing at all. So if anyone knows of a batphone or channel, I would appreciate it.
On a side note I know I ask a lot and am very appreicative for all the help. a few years ago I changed my hobbying from twice a month with non-porn stars to Porn Stars only every "quarter/3months", if you will. I still keep a lookout for a provider that is just too good to pass up but none the less, pornstars only. Maybe it is the fantasy factor, or seeing them first in "action" makes it more enticing, or since it is so expensive it keeps me in check as far as the risk/reward as I dont do it as frequently as if I would have with non-porn stars.
But my other question is, if a porn star is not only a known provider, and I have seen them, then why is it that they still do not allow a review? I have seen 2 well known porn stars, known providers, over the last 6 months since being active in TER, and when I asked if I could leave a review, they had said no. When I asked one of them why , I was told what happens between us is private. Guess I answered my own question, just sucks that I spent over $3k and have no one to tell! Also thought maybe since sometimes it is not thru the agency that they dont want to alert them that they take business on the side , so to speak. I do have a date setup for the end of the month and was told reviews are ok ( I ask now prior to booking) so hopefully if goes well I can finally tell someone! Thanks again for all the help that I have been given these last few month. Even the harsh words help as sometimes tough love is what is needed....

Excellent and articulate questions. Equally excellent and thoughtful answers. Thanks to you both.
Well Amy has been available publicly for years through the agencies that get posted here regularly and she also books utr through a few.
Also here's her twitter account: https://twitter.com/realAmyRied just ask her about "bookings" nothing specific though since it's twitter.
And on twitter she mentioned this is her email so try contacting her there also: [email protected]
Thank you all for the answers/info. I knew of the twitter but wasnt sure how to approach without being a complete doosh so thanks for the suggestion. I knew in the past she had and had contacted 3 agencies that "claim" she is on thier lineup. Hopefully between twitter/yahoo one will at least let me know if she at least still does...thanks again!
I don't know if she is available or not, I too have seen her ads in the past. I have had good success getting straight answers from Adonia @ TLC. I am sure that if you e-mail her from your TER account you could get some additional information.
I do know from following her Twitter posts that she is not doing much new work. She has some very strong opinions on piracy and such. I think it boiled down to her not wanting her images used without her being compensated, which is just about impossible in with our current technology.
Hope that helps!
