OK, we've been having fun with the polls (at least I hope we've been having fun).  Now it's time for a more serious one, and one I'd like as much feedback as possible.  There's two similar but seperate parts to this poll so read the questions carefully...

Part One:  (I'm not looking for specific names here, just answer the question generically)

EXCLUDING A ONCE-IN-A-LIFETIME ATF, WHAT IS THE HIGHEST PRICE YOU ARE GENERALLY WILLING TO PAY FOR A PSE MEETING?
A. OVER $1500/HR
B. $1001 - $1500
C. $801  - $1000
D. $601  - $800
E. $600 OR LESS

PART TWO: WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM RATE THAT WOULD GENERALLY ENTICE YOU TO SEE PSE's ON A REGULAR BASIS?
A. OVER $1500: Price doesn't matter to me
B. $1001 - $1500
C. $801  - $1000
D. $601  - $800
E. $UNDER 600

Now I know we'd ALL like to see PSEs for under $600, but note that the question states the MAXIMUM rate.  So in both parts of the question, please be honest and reasonable with your answers.

MY ANSWERS...

Currently, my answer to PART ONE is C. and PART TWO is D.  

(At one time it would have been higher, but I've seen most all of the girls I've had fantasies about).

I would say probably D, although went to 1k for Ryan Conner- C would probably be the highest

For part 1: 1K-1500K for all time fav PSE
   part 2: 500
I have spent more>2K/hr for some.
I would think with the economic changes today why not the change in prices, but this has been discussed many times over on TER. (i.e.  I have seen an advertisement on eros for PSE stating $1,000 for 1/2 hour or $1200 for one hour? ?????) enough said!!!
 I thank the TER for holding a forum and review to assist with our judgement.

Ed, you and I have discussed this a lot privately. My answers are for part 1, C and for part 2, D.
The most I ever paid was $5K, for a lady most would put on their list of the most famous, most talented, most wanted women ever to do porn...and that was for two days and two nights and she was worth it! On the other hand, I often see well known PSE's who book through the agencies in MYC at $1500/hr in LA for $400 to $700 per session (no time limits really). Many times they even wind up bringing a girlfriend unannounced (because they want company or more likely, they needed a ride). But the fact is the majority of PSE's would be happy to see someone they know and trust on a regular basis for $400 to $800 tops! And as a general rule $500 to $600 works 90% of the time.

No provider is worth more than 500 per hour.

Huh??? cheaper in LA??? what are you talking about? LA has the most inflated prices in the country (or am i wrong?)

PSE's are cheaper in LA then anywhere else in the country, the reason being that most of them live here.

For Part 1 I'd be straddling the line between C and D - about $800 give or take a hundred.

Part 2 it really has to be E about 5 or 6 hundred. Just can't do it on a regular basis otherwise.

Now if my income were to suddenly double or I were to wake up tomorrow morning with the winning lottery ticket on my bureau those numbers would likely change.

C & D is about right -- at least until the Powerball comes in

And I have known of quite a few over the years that were well known names in their day that were available for well under the $600 mark; probably because they were in LA. I think that another thing that keeps the price down in LA is that there are many more to choose from here. You know....that thing called competition.

No offense to Fast Eddie... polls bring good discussion.  But this poll, asking what the Maximum is you'll pay, serves only to the economical detriment of clients.  The last thing we need is for PSEs to know just how much moola clients are willing to fork over.  Prices will only increase with this type of discussion.  I hope everyone picks E in both parts.

I disagree.  I think it's quite the contrary.  If you read the replies, for the most part the maximum most guys are willing to occasionally spend is $801 to $1000, and would be enticed to see more girls at $601 to $800.  So the averages work out to $900 occasionally or $700 regularly.

This is far below the rates that most PSEs charge even directly.  So if anything, this poll should give a PSE food for thought.  A drop of a couple hundred bucks could significantly increase her bookings.

Part one c and part two d, but a lot of other factors should get into...

If a PSE is selling her time, does she want to do 3 one hour appointments at $600, or 1 one hour appointment at $1800- considering PSEs have lives and the same 24 hours a day to work with we all do? That's the thing- more business at a lower rate = more time to get that same amount of money.

The fact is that at some point, you can't satisfy demand. My ATF is a highly reviewed lady here on TER, and even though she has some pretty steep rates, she STILL has to turn down over half her potential business because there simply aren't enough hours in the day- she can't DO 5-10 calls (and she's an extremely high energy lady).

I'm not saying dropping your rate/going direct wouldn't make more sense IF you aren't making enough as a PSE, but I doubt you're going to convince people to fix things that aren't broken just because prices are too high for you. Eddie, do you think a lot of ladies would want more business that way?

First of all, your PSE friend is the exception to the rule... at high rates most PSEs are lucky to see two guys a day in a tour city...

I've discussed this with a lot of PSEs I'm friendly with, and there is definitely two different opinions:

Some PSEs are perfectly fine with sitting in a hotel room for two days and seeing four clients at $1500/hr.  If they're going through an agency that means that they're getting around $900/hr. equaling $3600 for two days work.

Other's I've spoken to are looking for volume... if they can see 5 guys per day at $500/hr their end for two days, that's $5000... and most of the girls who are at that kind of rate can actually book enough to spend three or four days in a city, meaning that they'll end up taking home $10,000, where the $1000 to $1500/hr girls don't get enough business to sustain a four day visit to a particular city.

So it totally depends on the PSE... My perfect example is Kiki D'Aire... she originally was booking through E2K at $1500/hr.  Then she went direct at $1000, and finally ended up touring with www.thebelladonna.com at $500/hr.  She told me that she made four times the money at $500/hr than she ever made with E2K or even at $1000 direct...

Of course, a girl has to be OK with volume business... 5 guys a day for four days is something that many PSEs aren't comfortable with, but if they are, they definitely make a LOT more money at a lower cost, higher volume. It just depends on the girl and her mindset.

And believe it or not, MANY of the PSEs I know prefer 1 hour appts. over 3 hour appts.

Question? If booking with agency with PSE, should you state 1hour session, then negotiate rate directly with PSE for more hours?

If someone can get more volume and money and they are comfortable with it, yah, sure it makes sense. it does require some high energy, though (fortunately most people in the industry who want to see guys on the side ARE high energy...OMG...).

So yeah, that's why it would make sense. If you have the time and inclination, it sounds like a good way to maximize your money.

And, just to clarify, my ATF is a PSE as well as a GFE (the reviews of things she does with her toys are rather infamous)...just not a PS proper. But yeah, she has more demand than she can supply, barring an extra 4 hours in the day and a couple of extra days in the week. Of course, that can be part of the allure, too...and she's high energy enough to put some porn stars through their paces.

Unless you are already a regular, you are correct.  LA is a bad place for a first-timer lacking relevant references.

By relevant I mean a reference your target PSE accepts references from.

And yet Kiki has now retired, which I hope goes to show you that money isn't everything.

most guys here seem to think you're kinda stretching the limits at $800 ... so if you insist you're "worth more" than $1000 then you're on the wrong side of the supply-vs-demand chart ... plus, longevity requires that you settle on high-volume/lower-price

and if it's $1000+ that you insist on, then you're wasting your time on this board i should think

me, i'd say $600 is my personal limit ... maybe plus 2 bills (max) for that rare special treat

Well I don't know about that, I think youre pretty much locked into that first hour, but I have been told my several PSEs that they will deeply discount additional hours, sometimes 1/3 to 1/2 off of the original hours donation.

Well, it seemed specific enough for everyone else... How more specific would you like it to be?

As for "regular"... it doesn't matter what I define as regular.  The question is what price would entice someone to see a PSE regularly, as HE defined regular.  For some, regularly might mean once a week, for others once a month, but the question is valid regardless of the frequency for each individual person; it's entirely subjective.

But if she were married to the guy and escorting at the same time that would make her even more money, right?  Although, this does branch off from a theory I'm postulating in a reply in this thread I'm titling -- "Yay, more for ME!"

The subject heading is what I'd be thinking were I a Fancier and not just a small "f" fan of most PSEs.  The Fancier (meaning idolater and the word from which the term "fan" is derived not "fanatic")  is a collector of a specific concept.  For example, a fancier of Superman will collect anything in which Superman appears or even anything in which Superman is referenced.    Now, how does this apply here?  If a fancier can wrangle exclusivity out of the pornstar he idolizes -- he'll do it!  That motherfucker DOES NOT WANT TO SHARE!!!!  It may not matter to him (I'm not referring to anyone posting on this thread by the way) that he might be the only one in the world who wants her, but she's the goddess of his universe -- and he wants to be her high priest.  The closer a nut like this can come to exclusivity, the better he likes it.  If he can convince his pornstar to price herself out of the range of HIS potential competition -- he'll fork over that $1500+ per visit and he'll be glad to do it.

The more subjective a question is in a poll the less validity it has as scientific data.  Ask anyone.
