your case - a hobbyist who does it with his S/O interests me a lot (as a batchelor, it gives me hope that one day i too could brainwash my future ex-wife into doing it) ... in fact, there used to be a very distinguished TER member who posted under the alias "MyLifeAsMe" who "co-hobbied" with his wife, and she also  preferred he didn't post reviews.  i think he's since retired. shame, cuz his hobby wisdom is sorely missed these days

think when they decided to get marry, he chose to leave TER all together even though his SO didn't mind reading his posts.

I think that is a wise choice as it is a good gesture to show respect for his wife.
