I think you could count the number of PS, in LA, on one hand that would turn down an overnite at 2.5K in these tough times.  So, the real issue is PS vs. NA at 2.5K.

I think it probably varies with the girl.  I recently spent 2 days & nights with an "A-List" girl.  Discusions started off kind of high but ended up pretty reasonable (IMHO) - but - it was through an agency and the agency made about as much as the girl...

Thant being said, in some cases it's not about anything other than ego and what she thinks other pornstars in her "class" are getting.  Pornstar A gets $5K, so pornstar B thinks to herself, "I'm better lookking and better in bed that A is, so I wouldn't think of doing an overnight for less than she gets".  She may not have the money to make her car payment or pay the rent, but her pride won't let her compromise.

But when you see perennial favorites like Kate Frost, Loni Mallory, Stevie and even Kathy Willets dropping their rates, it's obvious that the economy is affecting everybody, and the more realistic person will make one of two choices; reduce rates or decide that they don't want to do it for less than a certain price, so it's time to quit and look for a civilian job.

So, two people can do what ever the heck they want with each other and as much.
