that you just don't "get"?

I admittedly have tastes that can often run a bit different (but not that different) than some.  Having said that, I like a lot of the same popular porn stars that other people like.  

But, there is one porn actress that is fairly popular right now that I just don't get.

Sasha Grey

I don't understand what people see in her.  Just doesn't seem that attractive to me.  Am I nuts?

For comparison, a couple I'm really into right now are: Alyssa Branch, Riley Steele, Bibi Jones, Bree Olsen, Faye Reagan, Lexi Belle, etc.

Bree Olsen.  

Bree Olsen is just a plain vanilla blonde to me...don't see anything special about her.  

Sasha Grey? Not a huge fan, but she does have an incredible ass.

My faves are Jayden James, Alexis Texas, Christy Mack, Rachel Starr, Asa Akira.  
As you can see i like ass.  To each their own.  

She does nothing for me. I fast forward through everything she's in. Just not in to the fake Cali Baywatch type chicks.

No, you're not nuts, because the old cliches are true:  "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" and "In matters of taste there is no dispute."

But just for the record, I have the completely opposite impression of Sasha Grey.  More so from meeting her in person, than from watching her videos.

Sasha Grey is astonishingly intelligent and articulate, and she has a lively sense of humor.  Despite a lot of the "hoopla" that is raised about her, she does not seem to take herself too seriously.  For want of a better word, I would say that she is not at all "prissy" about her porn work, and in that respect she is quite different from that group of "Stars" who try to capitalize on the fact that there are things that they will not DO.  (For example, "I won't do gang bangs" or "I won't do interracial" or "I won't do anal" or "I won't do A2M.")  Sasha Grey is a complete and total porn star inasmuch as she does it ALL.

On the other hand, she does not define her life solely, or even primarily, as a porn star.  She has a lot of other interests and concerns.  And she is much more beautiful in person than in any of her photos or videos.

Finally Sasha Grey has the most incredible and hypnotic set of eyes  (I know, I know, Who looks at a porn star's EYES?).

I don't like Jesse Jane because she is just SO plastic (though I do dig Riley Steele).  And Sasha Grey I find just annoying.  Give me Stoya any time!

Belladonna has always occupied this slot for me. Audrey Hollander isn't far off.

Nothing against Jesse but she and other, as you put it, "Cali Baywatch type" girls are just not my flavor.  To each his own though.

I have often had the same experience in real life...once you meet someone...they can become a lot more attractive because you know more about them...etc.

I'm not a Sasha fan but she is very hot!  Her natural look, great oral sex ability and one of the two best dirty talkers (Jenna Haze) in the bus put her over the top.  

For me Nikki Benz and Lisa Ann don't doing anything.  Miss Benz looks like she has had so many plastic surgeries that I can't tell where one ended and the other began.  Lisa Ann is O.K. but there are several MILFs hotter than her.  Way over hyped in my opinion.

To the fellas on Jessie Jane, she is adorable but all her scenes seem so vanilla so I kind of agree on that one.

For me it's Amy Reid.  I just don't see what others see in her.  There are a few others but she stands out in my mind as one of those "I don't get it" ladies.

As for Sasha Grey.  She has a classic girl-next-door look with an attractive face, particularly her eyes.  

I've met her at conventions and she's stunning.  Alas, not a provider, despite her having made a film about The Girlfriend Experience.  I talked with her about it and we laughed about it.  Cool lady.  

It wouldn't surprise me to find out that she was actually available if you were rich enough and good-looking enough and I don't fit either category.  

Actually, I'm one of those that looks at the ladies eyes.  I hate films where the camera focuses entirely on the genitals and never shows the face.

I call my attitude LETA for short: Lips, Eyes, Tits, Ass as the order I look at things *physically*.  Once the lips and eyes draw me to a lady it's her intelligence, sense of humor and personality that win me over.  The T&A are just bonuses.

I love the way she talks dirty, but that may just be me.

Yes, she needs to vocalize about 75% less of the time than she does, but past that, she is beautiful, does everything with gusto, and has one of the best asses that has ever been in the industry. Additionally, she is not full of herself.

Other than needing to cut down on the talking during sex, can't imagine what ANYONE would miss about why she is a star. She is awesome.

I definitely relate to what some others have said here.  Every girl i've dated in the civie world was someone I wasn't attracted to at first...then...after getting to know them...the fireworks went off.

I still don't get what you are saying, as for me I feel like she is very focused eye wise (both literally and figuratively), but again, different strokes. Her eyes are one of her best attributes, IMO...very sultry. I like the sleepy look.
