Aside from making SOME porn stars OBSCENE amounts of money, and FLEECING some gullible “fans,” WHAT exactly is the purpose of “Only Fans?”  🤔

So, you mean to tell me that I’m now expected to pay a “girl” PER scene when, A) I can get the content for FREE online, or B) I can subscribe to PornHub, Brazzers, Bangbros, etc, for LESS, and get MORE and BETTER produced content?

Has the world LOST its mind, or is it just ME, and I just don’t get it?  (SMH…)

Please feel free to chime in, fellas, pro or con.

Thx!  😎

It is insanity, but apparently enough people feel otherwise or the providers wouldn't do it. The inmates are running the asylum.

It really accentuates the public health crisis in the form of deeply insecure, disturbed men who lack access to a desirable sexual partner. This booming industry is basically predatory on that.

I think people might eventually expect more for their money, but there are a few lasting consequences.

Speaking only for myself, I can't name a single desired porn star who started in the industry after 2019. There are a handful of girls who still provide who I'd be interested in seeing, but most started their careers before 2019.

That means there is much less NEW, GOOD content out there. I find myself watching a lot of old stuff. There's not much else I can do. As for providing, there are a handful of girls whom I'd pay to see that are still available.

One of the reasons I check this site from time to time is to see if something has changed. It seems little has.

The advantages of Onlyfans are for the girls, not for the guys. They can produce their own content, on their own schedule, with whomever they want, and can set their own prices for it. It's a gold mine for the girls.  And, they can maintain control over the content too. The only thing Onlyfans site does is to provide them a place to upload their content, and to handle the credit card charges so the girls don't have to. Onlyfans handles all the financial transactions, and then just gives the girls the money, probably minus some fees, of course, because they have to make money too.

I am not a subscriber to onlyfans and I never will be.

Capitalism as it's finest. If a girl can monetize her craft, I say go for it!

Not all of the girls have the acumen do to it, but to the ones that do it's a form of economic freedom that the industry has never provided for them.

I choose not to subscribe to any OF accounts, but i don't have a problem with people making money.

Most have a disclaimer that says they can get banned for that- so my guess is no- but perhaps they have Twitter or insta through which you can contact them ?

One of the girls I know personally that has an OF tells me there is software on that platform that picks up on certain words / phrases in DMs to the content creators like "meet" or "meeting" or "in person" Those messages are then monitored and if it's determined a girl is trying to set up in person meetings she and the subscriber will be banned. So while I'm sure it happens (there are ways around the AI monitoring the messages) it's pretty rare.

Thanks for the clarification. Yes i did notice some providers will state not to ask about it in OF. So far the only good response i got is from a pornstar's OF but she sadly is not touring around my area at the moment.

I have NO problem with CAPITALISM, ascribing to it as a certified member of this society.

However, to put it in BASKETBALL/major league sports terms, not EVERYONE can be “Jordan” and be compensated as such.

That’s the problem with all these wanna be “OnlyFans” starlets - they ALL think they’re “Jordan,” and they’re NOT.

Mark my words - a day of RECKONING is coming, and these DELUSIONAL chicks better be ready for the CONSEQUENCES..  🙄

I think Jenna Jameson started one of the first pornstar fan sites.  She allowed other stars to piggy back off her site.  Eventually, Jenna and Jill Kelly set up their own server and allowed other stars access for a fee.  Kayden Kross and others soon started similar businesses.  The porn production companies, Naughty America, Wicked, etc, also started their own sites shortly before these pornstar fan sites.  Jenna and Kayden thought they deserved a bigger cut than the production companies gave them and stopped signing long term contracts unless the stars had rights to their performances.  This was the early days of the web and perhaps the first mass use of same by the general public.

Pornhub, Xvideos, and others began allowing the public to download to their sites and shared free porn in the early 2000's in an attempt to circumvent copyright laws.  They claimed their members were private individuals not subject to such law and that their sites only hosted member contributed content.  The sites for stars and producers lost subscribers.   YouTube was taking royalties from musicians and other creators in a similar manor.  The DMCA was passed as a result, but the cat was out of the bag.

OF allows those who think themselves as creative a venue to gather fans for a fee.  OF charges these self-declared artists a much smaller fee than record labels, production companies, etc.  This is much like the original porn star fan clubs with many YouTube concepts combined.  COVID served as an accelerant for OF.  It remains to be seen if OF is here to stay.

What I just wrote is my opinion.  I have not researched this to any great extent/  I may be full of crap.

I was actually speaking to someone about this earlier today.  We came to the conclusion OF succeeds because it manages to provide “fans” with the impression they’re personally connecting with their star, which is something that none of the typical high-end porn sites achieve.
These people are not paying for the content - they’re paying to establish, what they delude themselves into thinking is, a ‘relationship’ of sorts.   It’s also for this reason the term ‘simp’ was coined.

It’s pretty much analogous with when women let you buy them drinks at the bar even though they’re clearly not interested.

Great informed summation, sir!

In the abstract, it sounds like a “win/win” for fans and content creators alike.

In reality, when they’re charging PER scene, at say $6 a scene, it makes more sense just to get a subscription to one of the big porn sites, which allow you access to TONS of complete scenes with a variety of performers, by contrast.

There’s always the FREE sites, which offer a more than adequate amount of content as well.

I just DONT get “OF’s” appeal.

The best sites by far on onlyfans are the amateur sites.  Most OF porn star sites are lame.  I’ve heard only the girls on top 1% really rake in the huge money, that was free models.

Brandi Love, Nicollete Shay still out their providing, huge amount of fans.  The shitty providers are the ones that left.

It’s close to 3k an hour it’s not work it.  Most OF sites burn you out anyway.
