Similarly, some of my fondest memories are from very early in my hobbying.  One young girl, who still to this day remains in my memory as one of my ATF's really helped me through a tough time too when my fiance, with whom I had been with for 6 years was leaving me.  Ironically, the engagment failed due to infidelity on her part.

I have to believe things happen for a reason though. I know now that had I married her I would not have been happy.   It was an exceptionally difficult time in my life and had this young girl not been around to comfort me both physically and emotionally, (even though I was paying her) I probably would have tried to reconcile with my fiance.  I'm glad I didn't.

Thanks for another view of a page in your life. I have had similar hot experiences at AMP's.
