I'll be Stateside in September, heading to Vegas, but will also have a couple of days spare in the middle of my trip.

While I know LA's the main place for porn stars, I've been there countless times and frankly I'm bored of the place - too soul-less for my liking and full of vacuous showbiz wannabes. So apart from arranging a porn star meet, I really have little inclination to head there again.

As an alternative, I was thinking of Phoenix since I've never been there and it's a reasonable drive from Vegas. But does anyone know if there are any porn  stars based there who are worth seeing? Thanks for any suggestions.

try San Francisco. Lots to do. And there are a number of PSE's who are up that way.

Well I travel to both places (Las Vegas and Phoenix) on business and in Sept it’s still hot in Phx. Unless you are planning on staying indoors and having girl after girl visit you in your room, I would go to LA. Phx has some decent talent but nothing like LA or Vegas. And yes I am a LA native not in the movie business. Phoenix is just not as friendly of a town like Austin or Houston, TX. There is just not much to do out there in terms of meeting people.

And Las Vegas has to be one of the soul-less cities you will ever encounter because of the casinos but has serious talent to fuck and things to do. I have meet and know some great people in Las Vegas. There are a few top shelf talent in terms of porn stars and non-porn in Vegas. My UTR-ATF is out there.

If you go to LA, stay away from the tourist trap areas, stay some place close to the beach, take in some local events or culture. We have museums, shows…all kinds of events where you can meet people. As a single guy I attend events all the time and successfully meet and date civs. Check the link for events as you get closer to your trip. Once you get past the entertainment industry BS, the LA area is a exciting and culturally vast city(ies) as we are comprised of many environs.  

Love San Fran, but San Diego is very nice.  SeaWorld is a lot of fun if you are with someone in between bedroom time.  LaJolla is a world class beach.  Less spread out than LA, but just as many 18 and 19 year olds looking for daddy to pay their apartment rent.  Great fucking.

Plus, you can take the Tijuana Trolley across the border for, well, look at the Tijuana Regional board for latinas by the dozen.  And it is legal there.  Sorta.

I guess i'm biased here, but LA is the Only place where i will see providers..I won't rehash why, I've stated it countless times...

But that notwithstanding, there really is SO much to do in LA...Ok hiking, plenty of museums from the famous (Getty Center, LACMA, Natural History, etc.) to the lesser known (Petersen Automotive Museum, Grammy Museum, etc.)..Also there are parks & gardens, TV show tapings,
Dodgers or Lakers game, etc. etc...Then you have the movie studio tours, IMO, the best of which is the VIP tour at Warner Bros...Their standard 2-hr. tour is ok, but a much better experience is the 5-hr. VIP tour which gives one an excellent behind the scenes look at the world of motion pictures...Then there are side trips to take from LA (San Diego, Palm Springs, Santa Barbara, Catalina Island, etc.)..

Going back there in a few weeks...

Thanks for the feedback and link. Looks like LA could be the better bet of the two. I know Vegas can be pretty soul-less too, but in my opinion it's the most honest city in America - it makes no bones about the fact that it wants your cash!

Usually when I stay in LA it's Santa Monica or Marina Del Rey. I've stayed in Hollywood and Bev Hills before but I prefer being by the sea since I'm from London and it's nice to have a change of scene.

Phoenix may not be one of the worst cities in the U.S., but I wouldn't say it's a good city either.  At my last residence I had a neighbor problem, plus had to deal with lousy people in all aspects of life (doctor's office, Kinkos, employers who treat employees like garbage, rude transplants etc., unprofessional apartment leasing consultants).
