Big fan by the way, you are totally hot.  I would set a "reasonable rate" for everyone and obviously if you don't like the "agent" you don't have to see him or her.  I would say 700 would be reasonable in NY and you can always adjust accordingly.  Hope to see you by the way.

It wouldn't hurt to take a look at your competition. I understand that there's only one Debi Diamond (an honor to have you here, by the way). But if you're charging the same rate as your younger competitors you might want to rethink your approach. Now, your idea of charging individual rates may work. Set a realistic minimum in your own mind and let your client make an offer which you can then perhaps negotiate. You may find a die-hard DD fan who will shell out a small fortune just to live out his lifelong fantasy.

Talk to some of the PS providers your age (and you, my dear, look beautiful at any age) and ask them what they charge and how many clients they get per week at that price. That at least will give you an idea of where to start. If you want more clients, then charge a bit less.

You're better off giving a discount to guys who see you more often (like a frequent flyers club) than trying to remember what to charge to who based on their financial circumstances.

Contact Body Miracle and find out what rate they would charge for you in LA.  Reduce by 50% and that's your "upper rate".  Reduce by $300 and that's your lower rate.  Average upper and lower and presto!

Based on rates that I’ve see other PSE's charging  I'd recommend setting your rate somewhere in the 500-800 range and then adjust it until you find the right balance between with you think is fair verses what guys can afford.

My answer would be that the price you charge is a direct function of how busy you want to be.  Charge less, and you will probably make more money at the end of a month, but will of course have seen more guys....  Here is a simple technique that you can try.  Pick some fun cities to visit.  For instance,

NYC
Washington, DC
Orlando
Minneapolis

Then go to each city's discussion board here on TER and post an ad announcing what dates you will be visiting and posting a different rate, offering a $100 discount for anyone who calls you and prebooks by the end of the week.  List a different hourly rate in each of the cities.  Then see how your bookings vary in each city (keeping in mind that NYC is a bigger market than Orlando, or whatever).  This will give you real, concrete numbers to think about, rather than free opinions, which, as we all know, are worth what you pay for them, since how a market works is often counter-intuitive....  

No one expects you to be consistent in the price you charge.  Everyone charges a different amount in different cites.  Raise or lower your rates as your real world experience dictates.
