I've noticed a lot of threads over the last several months about PSE's lowering their rates do to the economy.
I just read an article about a airline aggressively expanding to smaller markets that have been neglected for a long time.
By lowering their rates a little they get more demand...BUT their lowered rates also make it possible to be competitive in smaller markets where consumers may not be willing to either:
a) travel long distances to get the low rate
or
b) pay a huge premium for living in a small market.

So...my question, at last, is:

Couldn't PSE begin touring in smaller markets (say...500k - 2million population areas) in addition to larger markets to increase the demand in addition to more reasonable rates?

As an example, PSE sometimes visit Atlanta GA, which is 6 hours away from me....but always seem to ignore cities like Charlotte which is still large and would drastically increase my likelyhood of seeing a PSE.

We get scant attention from PS's with a couple of exeptions who visit regularly, so this is pretty rare and might be the result of the economy, or perhaps she has some personal connections here, hard to say. I'll have to keep an eye on this developing situation, but hopefully it's a glimpse of things to cum....

I would also imagine that having an NBA, NFL or MLB team in the city might be a draw for PS's since alot of these guys have $$$ to burn.

I'd like to see ps's start visiting countries outside of the USA for extented periods, for example some of the Island were the large international companies have huge set ups in places like the turks and cacus, Bermuda and gernsey, if these companies can pay 20-45 thousand in rent for a top CEO imagine the kind of loose money there is to go around. a ps well know or up and coming with the right contact on island could make a small fortune in a short period of time. Lets see what happens
