That's interesting. When she retired she made it seem like she was putting that part of her life behind her. Breast reduction, asked that fans respect her privacy if they see her in public, etc.

More recently she appeared in a movie called "after porn ends 2", and she seemed to have softened from that stance a bit, describing how fans always stop and take photos with her, etc.

Not to hijack at all, but Jenna Haze also just did a big national feature dance tour, supposedly her "farewell tour" -- which makes no sense because she retired several years ago. Personally I think she was just confirming that she still was marketable and she must have some business ventures planned soon and she wants max exposure.  

One can retire from shooting porn without retiring from feature dancing (and vice-versa).  Jenna Haze's farewell tour is her farewell to feature dancing.

Lisa Ann retired from shooting new porn scenes but she still goes to conventions to meet fans and monetize her brand name by selling merchandise -- similar to other retired entertainers and athletes.

Since Jenna's name has been invoked, I'm wondering if anyone has intel or contact info??? She's been on my list awhile and I'd love to take a crack at it. Anyone,... anyone?

I used to belong to her old yahoo group & have talked to her many times at AVNs, one of the nicest young ladies I've met. She is on twitter so you may want to do a search on there. If youre inquiring if she escorts, she has repeatedly stated to fans she does not.

I find this is part of an annoying new trend. The girl retires, asks everyone to respect that she's no longer in the business, gets mad at people who ask when she's making a new movie, but then continue to use their porno Twitter account and show up at conventions hawking their products.

In short, they're sucking and blowing (pardon the pun!). They still want to make money off their porn careers but they want to be able to say, "Oh, I don't do that anymore" like it's a bad thing that they've put behind them.

Lisa Ann and Jenna Haze are prime examples. LA has been doing nothing but promoting her non-porn career in radio and making it clear that "phase" of her life is behind her, but now she's back hawking her wares at conventions. Which could just be an indication she's not making ends meet outside of porn.

JH isn't as bad but some of her Tweets have been downright hostile, getting pissed off at fans who ask her about her movies and saying she hated every minute she was in porn (Yup, she said that on her Twitter). She went pretty quiet for a few years but I did note she would still send the occasional Tweet hawking stuff on her website. But now she's really upped her game with the whole, "This is my last tour FOREVER!"... which really should have happened years ago. My take is that she needs a sudden influx of cash for something and this is the means by which she's going to get it. In other words, she wouldn't be doing it unless she was desperate.

I like both ladies but I find it disingenuous to talk shit about the porn industry and say you're done with it, only to turn around and rely on it to make some bucks after you've supposedly left the industry.

LA has been pretty much run out of town by the porn industry. Dunno about JH but I don't think there's as much animosity towards her.

If you want out of the porn industry, then get out. Delete your Twitter account (or simply abandon it) and start a personal, private one. But they don't want that because they don't want to give up their followers/fans. So then be graceful about ending your porn career and be honest that you still intend to be involved to some extent or another but you just won't be performing anymore. And don't trash the industry and tell us you hated every minute of it.

Do you also get angry at retired professional athletes going to conventions to sell autographs, photos, and memorabilia to fans who want to see them? If not, what's the difference? Why can Pete Rose or Deion Sanders or Brett Favre do it but Lisa Ann can't?

No one is forcing anyone to go see her at these conventions but there is clearly a market for her appearances. Why get angry at Lisa Ann for fulfilling market demand?

I have absolutely zero problem with retired athletes (or performers) continuing to make money. I find it annoying and disingenuous for retired performers to rail against the industry and say they're done with it only to turn around and not be done with it to make a buck.

She's very bitter so I don't suggest bringing up escorting.
