It is ridiculous to fire someone based on what they did in the past. People should have the right to work in a profession of their choice unless they were involved in criminal activity of some sort. We are becoming worse than despotic Muslim countries. What is the difference between Saudi Arabia publicly stoning or even cutting of their dick for adultery and firing someone from making a living?

I love porn as much as everyone on this board, but this is a game for adults, and adults only! So to tell you that an ex-pornstar is likely to get the respect of her male students or that I would like my daughter to have a pornstar as a role-model, that would be a hard one.  I can promise you this- I will be at every PTA meeting and every school event. My wife, however, will burn the school down and cut my balls off.

But in all seriousness, how come the kid is watching porn?! Telling me he's 14 and that is what 14yr olds do is not an excuse, and neither the fact that it is accessible everywhere on the internet.  I have access codes on my cable set-top-boxes, I monitor where my kids surf the net, and for the little ones I use special browsers for kids. And if I catch my teenage kid with porn we have a serious talk and he knows he is going to loss one of his privileges. Anything short of that is negligent parenting!  So I ask you, where were his parents in all of this?

Furthermore, where does the kid get the nerve to bully a woman that can be the same age as his mother, and then out her on facebook?  Where is the fucking respect to your elders? This is bullying no different than the case of the college student who committed suicide cause his asshole roommate uploaded to the net a video of him with another kid making out, or the Missouri girl who committed suicide after a classmate's mother bullied her on myspace.  

It seems that we give ex-convicts more benefit of the doubt than we give sex-workers, and they are not there to hurt anyone, quite the contrary.  We all make choices in life and we have to live with them, but fucking on camera shouldn't haunt you for the rest of your life because you didn't harm anyone.  Why is she not allowed redemption???

If you are judging her, than why not declare Jenna Jameson an unfit mother and take her twins while we are at it?! With all due respect to my fellow hobbiests, but those of you who past judgement, do you do so before, while or after you jerk-off to her videos? And by the way, she was a secretary, not a teacher.

If I were her, I would sue the kid and his family for:
1) invasion of privacy
2) copyright infringement for using the material publicly without permission ($250K alone)
3) Extortion
4) Libel
5) intentional infliction of emotional distress
6) Loss of income
7) Parents' responsibility for allowing the kid access to porn

If anyone knows the lady, please fill free to share with her some of these creative ideas.  I am sure there are plenty of lawyers out there that can find legal merit in her case, and if the family has money he'll cut an nice commission.

what a bunch of crap.   the school should have had some balls, and kept her, and rode the storm.   she did nothing wrong, she was doing a good job.   the school should have suspended the kid for being a prick, and had a counselor talk to his parents and the kid about adult sensibility and decorum.

Perhaps schools should do more about stopping bullying (THAT is a real problem in schools today) as opposed to worrying about a teachers past, as long as he or she doesn't have a criminal record...

There been several high profile bullying cases (namely the Phoebe Prince case last year in MA.) where a student committed suicide after relentless bullying...Schools need to provide a safe environment for students and instill zero-tolerance policies on bullying...

But, we are really uptight.  Someone made a change for the better in their life and then get shit for the life they left behind.  She wasn't a criminal.  She was not trying to seduce kids at school.

Just like a modern day witch hunt.  As Neil Peart from Rush wrote,  "Quick to judge.  Quick to anger.  Slow to understand."
